Reliable Aftermarket Parts 385-581 Power Rotary Scissors

Searched everywhere for a rotary head to for a Ryobi petrol brush cutter and found this. Fitted easily in a matter of minutes ( just 2 screws). Comes with a number of adaptors for different drive shafts and shims for different shaft diameters.Worked straight out of the box with no adjustment. Cuts perfectly and doesn't dig into the ground due to the base plate.Anybody in 2 minds I would suggest going for it. They are expensive but I've had to replace a drivers side window this year already after a stone came off my strimmer, proving how dangerous they are. This is worth its weight in gold if it means no more flying debris. Look like it will need regular lubrication but thats not a problem.

If you looking at this then you are probably a lawn enthusiast and have seen all the videos. It's as good as it looks but my god the thing is noisey

Mixed feelings about this purchase so let's start with the positives this is by far the best tool I have for tackling weeds in stoned areas driveways and patios etc and supper fast delivery as a trimmer attachment for around the edges of lawns I find the rotary scissors useless it misses a lot its no good if there is wide leaf weeds growing in the edges and it's heavy it does terrible on pavement which is because it's simply not designed for this purpose despite the advertising videos showing it being used in this way for general trimming, edging and weeds/grass growing in the pavement just use a string trimmer it will get used so not a total waste but i will only have a use for it occasionally it may well do better with the bigger blades but I'm not willing to throw good money after bad to find out maybe when these blades are no longer usable I'll give it a go
