I don't actually know about the picture quality but what I do know is my son loves it. He's 15 but he has autism and he tends to drop & be very rough on things. Also, he's very picky and he uses this thing on a daily basis. Would buy again.

my grandson loves this he got it for his birthday yesterdayunfortunately he used it for two videos and it snapped off the tripodhas anyone else had this issue= I am so dissapointed because he loves it I am going to see if they will exchange it?

Disappointed
We gave this to our son for his birthday and the setup on this thing is ridiculous. We charged the camera but it won’t turn on unless is directly plugged into a power source. The home/power button doesn’t work, the on off restart button in the bottom doesn’t work. The firmware doesn’t work. Nothing works!!! It’s highly aggravating and we will be sending this thing back and getting a regular camera . I don’t know why these kids toys need to be more complicated to operate than heavy machinery. Not happy.

Programing worthless
Our item was defective. Wouldn't start firmware update which is required in the manual. We reached out to little tikes. We had to send our own email with pictures /video showing the issue to a differnt programming service department. We have been waiting over 2weeks for them to address the issue. Web searches say its a known issue with the firmware update.
