Expensive, but worth it
After going through I don't know how many cheap folding camp chairs over the years, I finally took the plunge and bought a pair of these rocking camp chairs with sun shades. We are in the south and kids sports are everywhere, all year long, and hotter than the hinges of hell in the full sunlight at most sports fields. Soccer is 80 minutes long and that is a long time to roast. These chairs make that process a bit more bearable. The sunshades are awesome to keep you out of the sun and about as comfortable as you can be. They fold relatively easy, though getting the travel bag (which is pretty robust compared to cheaper chairs) can be a challenge with all the extra metal bars for the hood supports. The rocking feature is amazing and being able to just lean back sometimes really saves my back. There is a dedicated phone storage pocket, which is nice and a cup holder that works for cans, but I don't put my big old water bottle in there as I don't want to rip it. Good for beer or sodas though. Now the Cons: The cost is a hard pill to swallow, I can't sugar coat it. These are about four times what you pay for a normal folding camp chair, but the features and quality make it worth it. We have other sports parents friends that have had these for years and are still lugging them out to games and they still look and work great, so I know we will get years out of them too. These chairs are a permanent feature in my wife's soccer mom SUV and store small, so not a hassle to keep in there. Overall, we love them.

Perfect for youth sports, comfortable but folding it requires a mechanical engineering degree
Navigating the seemingly endless saga of 9U baseball, where the highlight reel often features more dandelion picking than home runs, I stumbled upon the GCI Sunshade Outdoor Rocker. This chair emerged as my personal oasis in a desert of bleacher-induced backaches and the ear-splitting symphony of dads who apparently missed their calling as major league coaches. These vocal virtuosos, shouting strategies as if their kids were battling in the World Series, provide a backdrop that could test the patience of a saint. The GCI Rocker, a throne fit for the weary, promised reprieve from the relentless assault of sun and screaming. Yet, folding this beast for transport turned each outing into a comedy of errors. Picture trying to wrestle an octopus into a suitcase—that’s me in the parking lot, battling the chair, while trying to dodge the enthusiastic tales of that one parent who’s convinced their kid is the next Babe Ruth. And let’s not forget the teammates who seem to be there under duress, wielding bats like they're swatting at flies rather than aiming for home runs. Watching them, you can't help but wonder if they've mistaken the sport for an elaborate form of medieval torture. Yet, despite the trials—be it the folding chair fiasco or the existential questioning of why we subject ourselves to this—the GCI Sunshade Outdoor Rocker offers a sliver of paradise. It's a beacon of hope in a sea of uncomfortable bleachers, a comfort so profound that it almost makes up for the hours spent listening to tactical advice shouted by someone who last played baseball in fifth grade. Almost.

Best camping rocking chair yet, but..
I have tried the small rocking chair with a foot rest, where the base looks similarly curved like an old rocking chair.. that hardly rocked surprisingly. I also tried the ones that are like a hammock.. and because baby is too close to the center of it, baby isn’t being rocked lol. Those ones also take up a lot of room, aren’t as sturdy, and are higher up off the ground, making me feel too uneasy as a nursing mom. So this product is the best out of the 3. Mind you, it may take less effort to rock than the others, but it still takes more than a glider. It’s also a bit loud as the fabric makes farting noises lol.. and it’s hard to slide it over to a close location.. let’s say you need to turn it or just move over, the chair almost starts folding up on you instead lol It’s also too heavy and big for hiking of course lol like all of them. But good if you’re just going camping and plan to carry a bunch of heavy stuff. Until a better product comes along, this is the best style.

Rocker outdoor chair
This chair is easy to setup, comfortable and offers shade. It is a bit heavy yet I wanted a sturdy comfortable chair to sit in during all of the outside events I attend.

My summer's just got a thousand times better!
I'm in love, and I would buy this again without hesitation!! My balcony is very, very small and I've always wanted a rocker. However, a normal rocking chair would never work for the space I have. The footprint of this chair is absolutely incredible first small spaces. It's easy to put up and put down, it collapses so that I can do other things on my balcony. Can't say enough about this product! It's extremely comfortable to sit in the back of the chair is high enough to support my neck so I can relax into the chair, It's worth noting I'm 5'5". This is one of those products where you buy it hope it works and suddenly you're not sure why you waited so long to buy it! My summer's just got a thousand times better!

Good Chairs. Bad Bags.
Good chairs but the bags are not durable and both bags ripped very quickly. Trying to find a way that I can order replacement bags because the chairs are big and heavy and hard to carry without the bags.
