The new innovative wall mount Genie garage door opener eliminates the traditional rail design. This Genie wall mount garage door opener features an integrated battery backup so the garage door can still be opened electronically even if the primary power is out. This wall mount garage door opener easily attaches directly to the garage door's spring mounted high and to the side of the garage door. This design opens all the space above where the cars would park in your garage. Often referred to as a residential jackshaft garage door opener, the Genie residential wall mount garage door opener models also includes the newest Genie garage door opener accessories. Featuring the Genie wireless wall console, Bluetooth LED light, and remote garage door lock. The Genie Wall Mount garage door opener also includes a battery backup, getting in and out of your garage during a power outage has never been easier than when your Genie battery backup kicks in and still provides power to the Genie Wall Mount Garage Door Opener. This battery backup makes this model compliant with the California State Law SB-969, which requires all installed garage door openers in that state to have a battery backup. This compact wall mounted jackshaft style residential Genie garage door opener will work on residential sectional garage doors up to 850lbs in weight, and 14ft in height.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is this compatible with wayne Dalton doors**
A: Yes, it is compatible with Wayne Dalton Torquemaster springs, but requires a Torquemaster adapter kit (sold separately).

**Q: Will this work with a MyQ wifi opener?**
A: Yes. I have a MyQ Wi-Fi hub setup with a Genie opener. They do have their own system Aladdin that may be better though depending on how you use it. MyQ is a pain when trying to integrate with Google Home.

**Q: Do you have to install the battery for it to work or can I leave it out?**
A: The battery is only a backup source.  You do not need to install the battery for the operator to work. The battery is for when there is a temporary power outage.  The battery does require at least 24 hours to fully charge before being able to use it.  So, it is better to install the battery if you plan on using it when the power does go out.

**Q: Does the rod need to be solid ?**
A: No, the torsion bar does not need to be solid, either solid, 14 or 16 gauge steel is acceptable.
