A junior now, I recently purchased another scooter after losing my first scooter on campus. If I hadn't lost the scooter, I would've still been using the same scooter for over two years, and even with all the stress I put on it (I'm not the most careful with my things), it was still working just fine, which speaks to the durability of this product. I will say that this is hands down the best purchase I have made in college. The amount of time that this thing has saved me is tremendous. If I'm running late for class or a meeting, I grab this thing and I'm there in a few minutes. Not only is it a huge timesaver, but it's so much fun too. Sometimes I take this to class even when I'm not running late just so I can experience the thrill of going downhill from my classrooms. I don't have very good balance, so this scooter is perfect for me, as it has a break on the back which makes me feel much safer. I wanted to learn to use a skateboard but my balance just wasn't letting me do it. A lot of the college athletes on my campus use the larger A5, but I think the A3 is the perfect size for me (I'm 5' 5 and 123 pounds). If you're worried about this not being able to hold your weight, it can definitely hold much heavier than it says it can. I've had friends from the football team who are 200 pounds on this without a problem. I'd say if you're above 5' 8 to go for a larger A5, but if you're anywhere below that, the A3 will be perfect. I highly recommend this scooter to every college kid looking to save time or just have fun while zooming to class. There may be some haters but who cares???
