These were perfect easy to install and great quality. So much better the plastic ones we used to use. These were just the right fit, and can't really tell they are there. We took the lights down and just left them for when we put the lights back up.

Easy to use. They go right through the hole and hold tight enough. The metal is easy to bend so I just bend it around the cord so the lights don't come off. I left them on last year when I put the lights away and just reattached the lights to the gutter, using these, last week- Really easy and better than the plastic ones that break all the time.

We had new siding, trim and gutters installed over the summer with the facia boards wrapped in aluminum. We didn't want to screw cup hooks through the new aluminum and these gutter hooks solved the problem. They hang over the outer edge of the gutters with the tang through the gutter guards into the gutter. Very easy to install

These hooks will work on some gutter guards as other reviews describe. It depends on the size of the holes in your guard and if you're willing to slightly bend, puncture or deform your guards to get the right fit for you. The key to getting them installed is they are aluminum and bendable. Being a little creative and bending each hook to fit your specific gutter and guard will greatly help you install this. Once you've done all the bending the first year, you won't need to customize them for the next year. I do agree with the reviews that say they don't feel secure or have been blown out by the wind. I've found that putting a 90° bend in the "back" (in the gutter) side of the hook secures them much better against the wind. And it helps with the installation as well. I was pulling the hooks out accidentally as I worked along the gutter installing them. The bend kept them secure!

I had my open gutters replaced with gutters with perforated metal covers. I had used very good plastic clips to hang holiday lights on the open gutters but they won't work on covered gutters. I used the metal clips to hang up Halloween lights along a short gutter. They weren't as tight as I prefer and there were a couple of small scratches on spots where the metal clip rubbed. Scratching has been mentioned in some of the reviews. The Christmas holiday lights are hung on the short gutter as well as a much longer gutter. In preparation for hanging these lights, I ran 2" blue painter's tape along the entire edge of the gutters. I just took the lights down and there were no scratches on the gutter face after I removed the tape. I placed the clips 6" apart and the light strings remained tightly attached. Follow the suggestions for bending the clips to fasten them tightly to gutters.

Just got these in the mail and went out and put up a string about 68 feet long down the front gutter of my house. The gutter has Gutter Guard installed which made using the prior clips not an option. Found these on Amazon and got and installed them today! Work well and so far so good. They are aluminum so they are easy to manipulate to make them fit and hold the wire! Seem to do the trick...if there are any issues I will update this review!

We recently had new gutters with leaf guards installed on our home. We had the older plastic clips that we used for many years and realized they would not work with the guards. These hooks were perfect and easily slipped into the holes in the guards. They actually install pretty quickly and no worries about them becoming brittle and breaking like the plastic ones. We have about 45 linear feet of gutters that we hang lights from. Two bags easily were enough with some extras left over. Highly recommend!

I bought these as they were advertised to work with the mesh gutter guards (pic attached) like I have installed over my gutters. They do not work that way, as you are supposed to just push them thru the hole and cinch the wire around the light wire to hold them. The mesh gutter guards don't have a hole thru them b/c it is like a window screen, so I had to drill a small hole in my gutter guards to get them to work. The metal in the hook is pretty flexible, not sturdy enough to keep from bending easily, but then it did hold the wire. I am not sure if it will not pull up out of the guard though. I only gave them 3 stars because they are made in the USA, otherwise I would of gave them 2 stars.

Items received were exactly as advertised and any hiccups in the process is dealt with so the customer is satisfied with their experience.
