Magnet part plastic broke of with in a month poor quality product

The device itself is interesting and kind of works - food tends to defrost in the top section and get stuck though. But this review is because tonight my fish decided to wriggle into one of the vent holes on the side and got stuck. I heard him slapping in the water and gasping for air, he almost died. Thankfully I saved him in time. In retrospect having holes this size is a dumb idea. This item is no longer in my tank.

Strong glass and stong magnetic

This works great! Have one for my axolotl and one for my fish - both used with frozen Bloodworm chunks. It works as a little containing element while the bloodworms defrost and keeps it all tidy. The little puffer fish sometimes even goes inside to eat in peace. Strong magnet, easy to assemble and clean, high quality. Recommended!

It came broken

Until I found this very cool fish feeding gadget I would use 1 cup salt water and wait for the food to defrost. Then dump it in the tank. This gadget always allows me to put just the right amount of frozen fish food in. Then it slowly drops down and the fish go nuts. You should see my clown trigger fish going crazy at it. Awesome little device, just bought another I liked this one so much. The major plus is the food stays central to the feeder not polluting the tank. Have yet to try their nori feeder. Thanks for such a nice well made item for my reef tank.
