The VIOFO A119 V3 has been an outstanding addition to my vehicle. The video quality is crystal clear, both during the day and at night — the 2K resolution really makes a difference when capturing details like license plates and street signs.Installation was a breeze, and I appreciated the generous cord length, which made routing and hiding the wires simple and clean. The built-in GPS functionality is a great bonus, providing accurate speed and location data without needing extra accessories.One of my favorite things is the compact design. It sits discreetly behind the rearview mirror and doesn’t obstruct the view at all. Overall, this dash cam offers great features, top-notch performance, and excellent value. Highly recommended!

This cam provides a nice image and was easy to install. For my application the power cable was plenty long and everything worked great right out of the box. There are a few videos out there that will help you pick the best settings to optimize your performance, and I recommend checking those out.

Amazing quality, when I watch videos back from this there's almost no situation in which a license plate is unreadable. I would definitely recommend buying the anti glare lens sold for this model to use with it though as there is quite a bit of dash reflection that the camera picks up. Even if you didn't use that though, it would still work very well for a dashcam. Just not so pretty to look at the videos.

A true tried and tested product. I use it with the polarized filter and the video quality is the best for a webcam (still cannot compare to a phone camera though). So far, it helped me twice with claims.

I purchased this VIOFO A119 V3 (Renewed) from BlackboxMyCar because I’ve used the same model before and have been happy with it. Unfortunately, this refurbished unit has not met expectations.Right out of the box, the microphone does not record any audio. I double-checked all settings, performed a factory reset, updated the firmware, and reset again, but the issue persists. My other A119 V3 works perfectly, so I know the camera should be able to record audio without requiring an external mic.Another disappointment is that the listing states “GPS Included,” but the GPS base was not included in the package. This is an important feature since it provides speed and coordinate tracking, so its absence makes the product feel incomplete.I’ve also noticed this unit has a noticeable delay when powering on compared to my other VIOFO dash cam. While the video quality is still solid, the combination of missing parts, malfunctioning audio, and slower performance suggests that the refurbishing process wasn’t as thorough as it should be.I’ll be installing it for a trip this week, but unless performance improves, I plan to return it for a replacement. Amazon Renewed products should be properly inspected and tested, and this one clearly slipped through the cracks.

The media could not be loaded. Recently I was involved in a traffic light collision. The other driver ran a red light and I struck him broadside in the intersection. He immediately screamed that he had the green light, however, the dash camera proved him wrong and that he was the one running the red light - he was cited for the accident. Insurance company commented on how clearly the video was and said that they would have no problem proving to the other driver’s insurance company that he was at fault. This dash camera has made my life easier as I don’t have to prove anything about the accident. Thanks for a great product.
