This came exactly as described! I have wanted one of these but was sceptical about purchasing it online, but this tool did not disappoint It will makey job so much easier! I recommend this product. Con: It would be nice if it came in different colors to match my other tool but other than that I love it!

Excellent Pipe Chain Wrench
These AUPREX Heavy Duty chain pipe wrenches are a blessing when working with large PVC or steel pipes and fittings. They provide excellent leverage for tightening or loosening fitting. A must have for any professional or amatuer handyman.

chain is week
the chain is junk every time I tried to use it the chain broke. I did not even have to use a cheater pipe to brake the chain. I do NOT recommend this.

Stuck Hydraulic Filter
This device is made well and sturdy. I found it difficult to get chain tight and kept slipping. Perhaps teeth need to be at a round angle to fit surface of filter. Did not remove very stuck on hydraulic filter

Worked well on stuck house water filters, requires some technique for gripping
Once I figured out how to get the chain to stay in place and where to get the handle top "teeth" to lock onto the filter housing, this wrench did a great job. The first filter took about 10 minutes to open due to the learning process, and the second was about a minute. This chain wrench did much better than the wrap around nylon strap that I tried before. This type wrench is shown in many plumbing videos for this exact problem. Note that if you are not somewhat mechanically inclined, I could see that this wrench will be a mystery. For oil filter changes, you can loop the chain around the filter housing for extra grip if you bought the wrench with a long chain, and use a shop rag as well.
