Smoke Odor Exterminator, Sugar Skull 13oz Jar Candle, 13 oz, 13 Ounce

Pro: Sugar Skull smells really warm and masculine, like cologne. It works great to neutralize smoke odor, especially when combined with a smoke buddy. Sometimes we light it just to freshen up the room, and it works great in small to medium size spaces. And the price is good too for the size. Cons: 1.) The candle sits loosely in its jar, so if you move it too quickly, the candle wiggles back and fourth. I’m not sure if this effects the functionality of the candle, but this candle is the only candle I have that wiggles in the jar (unless I buy those really cheap $1 candles). In addition, the lid was slightly banged up during shipping, and it cheapens the value (in my opinion), if I were to gift a loose & banged up candle to someone. But since this is for personal use, it’s fine, and cosmetically doesn’t bother me. 2.) After lighting 2-3 times, the wick has became misshapen, and it causes the flame to grow larger than it should be. Please see the imagine pictured. As a result, the candle is burning faster than it’s intended to, so it won’t last as long. A few people have recommended cutting the extra parts of the wick, saying that it will burn evenly again. There is a plus though; the candle-smell fills the room more quickly because the wax heats up quicker. 3.) Sugar Skull has been reviewed as the most potent smelling candle. It works on medium size rooms, but a person will need multiple for a bigger space. For example, we used the candle at a friend’s house that has a living room and kitchen connected through an open layout, and it only smelled like the candle in the kitchen but not living room. So be prepared to buy multiple if you need it for larger rooms and heavy smoke of any kind. Overall: Definitely worth the purchase because I can make this candle work with a few small tweaks. Also, it does its job nicely when it comes to eliminating smoke odors. 4 out of 5 stars! And I can’t wait to try other scents!

I'm a bit of a candle snob, I've bought some of the best (i.e. super expensive) and I've made many of my own using superior oils and soy wax. I bought this candle because I really needed something to eliminate smoke odors, didn't have the time or the materials on hand to experiment with making my own smoke eliminating candle, and I have a friend who absolutely swears by this brand. I was prepared to be disappointed, even expecting it, because I fully believe you get what you pay for...however, I have to admit, this candle works. I bought the Sugar Skull because I happen to like the smell of mens cologne, sometimes even the cheaper stuff, so I figured this was my best bet. It is quite strong, so prepare yourself, you don't want this one for a small room, it needs a lot of space or it quickly becomes overwhelming. It 100% eliminated all smoke odor. My daughter, a non-smoker, came over and could not stop raving about how she couldn't smell any trace of cigarette smoke. Color me impressed. I am going to try other scents, maybe find something a little less intense; but if you have a big room or want to cover more than one room, Sugar Skull will definitely do it for you. I burned it for approx 3 hours and you can barely tell it's been used, so yeah, for the price, this candle is absolutely worth it.

I smoke joints, blunts… hell, anything regularly in my apartment, but I do not have a roommate that would appreciate finding that out. These candles have been working for me for over a year as long as I light one before the sesh and then keep it going a little bit after and do the usual processes (window open, fan running, towel at the door) I’ve had absolutely no issues. In fact, my friends are really impressed by these candles. All of them been asking me where to get them because they walking to my apartment after knowing I seshed literally minutes after and they tell me they can’t smell much. I’ve been getting this blue one. I also wanna try the flower power smell. The blue one to me is the best. everyone loves it. It’s actually funny because a lot of these reviews say that these candles are just really overpowering but everyone has told me quite the opposite and I have to agree. Maybe it’s just the scent I got but it’s incredible how it works. It kind of just eliminates the bad smells. it’s not super strong. It’s very subtle. Im buying these forever

I spent so much money on this line of candles on amazon...paying 15 dollars a candle plus tax. Then I found exact candles at Mike's Tobbaco Outlet. They also carry the sprays for only 7.99!-!-! So...yea I will not order on Amazon buying these candles anymore. Really disappointed I wasted all the money 💰!-! Not knocking the candle bc they are wonderful. My top 3 favorite is nag champa, sugar skull, and hippie love. Nag champa I love bc it covers ciggarette smoke really good and for all the herb smokers out there it also mask that pretty well! Especially the spray! Even tho I'm not a herb smoker ...I would buy as gifts for friends that were. I've also heard they use to burn nag champa at grateful dead shows way back when...kinda unique scent~♡

Of all the candles I've burned in my lifetime, this one has to be my favorite. I'm not one for fruity, sweet or food scented candles. I don't want to find myself baking a cake or raiding the kitchen every time I burn one. Overpowering scented candles are not in my forte, either. A lot of the bath and candle shops have me gagging before I can get all the way in the store because of the all out assault of fragrances, the minute you open the door. I really like this one because it smells clean! Even after extinguishing it with the lid, the scent lingers - but not in an overpowering "Gawd, I need a shower" kind of way.
