I've been looking for a good work shoe that doesn't look like a work shoe for months. I finally found them with these Keen shoes. They're cute enough to wear around town and sturdy enough to wear on the job site. The non-slip bottoms are exactly that and the composite toe is wonderful. On another pair of shoes I tried, my toes rubbed against the composite toe and it was annoying to say the least. With these, I don't even know it's there unless something gets dropped on my foot. They are supportive but soft. The laces are ribbed so they don't come untied. After bragging about how comfortable they are, my entire shift now wants to buy a pair. I am so glad that Keen is doing work shoes and equally glad that I found these and took a chance on them. Easily five stars. I'd give more if possible

I get a free pair of work shoes every six months thanks to my job (reimbursed after the fact) and I've been coming back to these for four years now. Zero break in time, light enough to throw in my backpack. I work in an industrial environment and I usually get six to eight months out of a pair before it's time for new ones.

These arrived brand new and as pictured in the listing with nice colors and design, the outsole tread is very reasonable for industrial applications. They're also pretty lightweight, so would probably prevent fatigue from walking throughout the day. While they seem sturdy on the bottom outside, they lack in the standard cushion comfort and wide toe box of other KEEN shoes, which may affect the lifespan of usability. As I've had close to a dozen pairs of various KEEN shoes over the years, the narrower toe box was noticeable before putting them on. First feels: there's some pressure on the outside of my pinky toes in both shoes - I think there could be too much, not enough, or even the wrong type of fabric encasing the composite material. It would seem to be a generic composite insert, not designed around proprietary KEEN lasts. The shoelace eyelets are also made of some kind of string which I've never seen before, so I don't know how durable that will be if used outdoors. I wear my shoes until there is not much tread left on the outsoles, so the uppers have to keep up with the intended usage. I'm glad I sized up a half size, but I am not sure how these will fare standing in for an 8 hour day. Usually, if there is anything noticeably uncomfortable upon first wear, it simply grows worse over time. Still, a great deal when on sale, so I am going to test my foot tolerance - maybe they'll break in? Hoping to put the shoes through the wringer and not my feet. I'll update this review as needed. These shoes are comfortable while providing good support. Unfortunately, the shoes did not hold up as long as I would have expected from Keen. I have had them for less than 6 months, and the treads are starting to peel off the bottom. I noticed the problem when I tripped on a flap of the tread that was hanging down. I am disappointed because the top is still in good condition, and the bottom is still attached, but if the treads keep peeling, I will have to replace the shoes. Not only are they unsafe due to the probability of tripping, but sticks and gravel get stuck between treads and the soul, which is both uncomfortable and dangerous.

This shoes feels great and we'll padded BUT runs small. The toe is about 1/2 sz smaller than my FILA safety shoes or sketchers ran. So size up a 1/2 sz which is what i intend to do. I am returning these to size up. Soles are flexible and springy but I do wish the safety toe wasn't as round and more fitted to the foot so there wasn't as much excess shoe towards the pinky toes if that makes sense. Great shoe, just size up.

Ordered these shoes for work. I'm a scenic artist and stagehand so I'm on my feet a LOT. Less than 3 months of non-daily wear and the sole started coming off. I have reglued the sole three separate times in order to keep wearing them. The shoelaces have snapped in multiple places to the point they need to be replaced. Cushion is almost non-existent after break-in and your feet WILL ache at the end of an 8hr shift. I'm on my feet all day for work, so I was really hopeful to have a well-fit, quality, non-slip safety shoe and these are NOT it. These lasted less than 6 months of consecutive work and I've traded them out for my three year old hiking boots because even after years of use, they're more comfortable and aren't falling apart like my Keens are. 2 stars because they are as advertised, just terrible quality.

I am very happy i bought this shoes to replace the cheap ones from my local home store. They are stable, i got compliments since they don’t look like steal toe shoes. I do feel the cup rubbing on my pinky toes when i don’t wear proper socks.

I just love these shoes. They fitted perfectly. So comfortable with a nice wide fitting. They look good too really very well designed. I am now 84 and really need such a pair of attractive walking shoes which provide for a very painful ankle injury when I was younger. X-rays show an old fracture. Wish I had been sensible and worn shoes such as these instead of the high heels I lived in for years≥
