![Young Justice: The Complete First Season [Blu-ray]](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81yQi6GZcVL.jpg)

In Young Justice, being a teenager means proving yourself over and over — to peers, parents, teachers, mentors and, ultimately, to yourself. But what if you're not just a normal teenager? What if you're a teenage super hero? How much harder will it be to prove yourself in a world of super powers, super villains and super secrets? Are you ready to come of age in such a world? Are you ready for life or death rites of passage? Are you ready to join the ranks of the great heroes and prove you're worthy of the Justice League? That's exactly what the members of Young Justice — Robin, Aqualad, Kid Flash, Superboy, Miss Martian and Artemis — will find out … whether they have what it takes to be a proven hero. From Warner Bros. Animation and based on DC Comics characters, Young Justice is a bold new animated series. Are you in? Review: Awesome Series! - I am very new to the animated DC universe, I had heard that it was far better than the movies so this was among the first shows I got. I really enjoyed this series, it has a lot of the main Justice League characters, (Batman, Superman, Flash, Wonder Woman, Martian Man Hunter, ect.) but it tells the story of their sidekicks, at the start it's Robin, Kid Flash, and Aqua Lad, after discovering Super Boy they decide they deserve to be treated like real member of the League and not just sidekicks. They are given a secret base and are handed missions by Batman, trained by Black Canary, and Red Tornado is like their Mentor/Supervision. Most if not all of their missions are revolving an organization called The Light. Overall the series was really good, I enjoyed watching the young heroes learn more about themselves and each other. They start out not really knowing how to operate as a team and struggling to find their own individuality after being in the shadow of their respective mentors. the addition of Miss Martian and Artemis is a welcome treat to break up the boys club and it adds some humor as the guys try and (sometimes) fail to impress the girls. Overall, it is a fun and interesting series, full of action, humor, and suspense. The characters are all very likable (except the villains) and I find them potentially more relatable than the major Justice League members. Review: Wow. Everyone who rated this as a five-star. Thank you. You didn't let me down. - I grew up on DC super-heroes. I found this title because of the quality of DC animated movies and their current crop of live-action series. Articles on the upcoming TNT series "Titans" kept referring to this show. What I found to be really nice about Young Justice for someone with my DC background, I had a some knowledge of characters (like Dick Grayson and Wally West. The characters who I wasn't familiar with (Conner, Kaldur'ahm, Megan, and Artemis) were developed and pretty well done. I got invested in them. Greg Weisman, and Brandon Vietti really created a show that explored the psychology and relationships between the team and then juxtaposed that to their psychology and relationships with the Justice League. And it had a very nuanced touch. Something I hadn't expected and have never seen in other DC animated series. This really feels like one of DC's animated movies. In a lot of ways it's significantly better than many of the DC animated movies. My only criticism of Young Justice is of season two (which was still very well done btw). I don't know that I can accurately diagnose what was unfulfilling about the second season. Except to say that it didn't seem like they had me as emotionally invested in the characters. And it also seemed like they were trying jam-pack every ounce of the storyline into that 20 episode arc. Also the relationship to the JL seemed contrary to what was setup in season one. In a lot of ways, the Young Justice "team" seemed to be running the JL which didn't seem realistic given the world that had been setup in season one. But both seasons were very well done. I hope the show-runners for TNT's Titans pay attention to the numerous fans of Young Justice and what they liked about this series.

Excellent Show and Product. Enyoy life watching Young Justice.
Great Release. Fantastic to finally have one of the best DC series complete first season on BLU RAY! A must buy for any fan of the show. Young Justice had a great plot with terrific well executed story lines. This is an excellent product that has finally been released. Every episode of the show is exciting and it only gets more compelling as it continues. This is worth your money. For $25 you receive 26 full episodes in 1080p. There are no bonus features although this shouldn't stop you from buying this spectacular t.v series on BLURAY! Super boy, Robin, Artemis, Kid Flash, Miss Martian and Aqualad are all interesting well written characters. Throughout each episode relationship and plot lines develop. The climatic finale will leave you wanting more. Young Justice lasted for 46 episodes which are separated into 2 different seasons. Unfortunately Young Justice was cancelled before its time. If there was a season 3 every fan would have been bursting with joy. Overall, a great release. Enjoy watching every jaw dropping moment of Young justice season 1.

Better than I remember.
An amazing show that never should have been cancelled. This show tackled serious issues, had great characters and an amazing story. Highly recommend.

Great storytelling and character development!
I'm generally not a fan of animated shows preferring live action because of the realism and generally more older audience targeted. This series is really well-done and sad that there are only 2 seasons. The storytelling is phenomenal that I forget I'm watching animation. It deals with themes of acceptance/fitting in, proving yourself and being patient with your own mistakes, identity, friendship/teamwork, and sacrifice. None of the Young Justice League's members are perfect and they learn to own that. Great show and want more!
