GilletteLabs with Exfoliating Bar by Gillette Mens Razor, 5 Bladed, Closeness and Comfort, Includes Travel Case and Stand, Handle + 3 Blade Refills

Love it. This is actually the second one I’ve bought. I’m using it specifically for travelling. The travel case it comes with is very nice and I’ve never seen anyone make a better travel case than Gillette. I have no idea if the exfoliating bar works but the blades do wonders. Compared to anything else on the market these blades last longer. The metal/rubber/plastic design of the razor itself feels extra premium. This is a luxury product as the blades go anywhere from 4.44-6 dollars each. Gillette says it gets you 20 shaves. I get about 23 until it’s uncomfortable. This razor is the closest shave I’ve ever gotten. The blade will still cut me in my sensitive neck areas sometimes if I’m not careful but most of the time it’s smooth and you don’t feel it. I pair this with Gillette labs rapid foaming gel because it’s the only gel that doesn’t have extra ingredients that irritate my skin. And it still has menthol. I currently use the Gillette labs rapid absorbing moisturizer(basically doubles as an aftershave balm) along with Gillette skin guard moisturizer for my entire face afterwards. This regimen seems to keep my face nice, smooth and moisturized throughout the day. My stubble also grows back thicker due to the extra close shaves. If you like effortless shaves or fast efficient comfortable shaves this is for you. It is a luxury as there are cheaper ways to get the job done but if you budget accordingly and enjoy your experience with it it’s well worth it. This is a great gift for someone to upgrade their shave. If you’re not sure just get the single razor and cartridge bundle and see if it’s right for you. When I first bought this razor I thought I was wasting my money. I was not. I found a sleek and elegant razor paired with the best shave gel I’ve ever tried. Gillette has all this controversy about their 2019 commercial and it’s super annoying. Men apparently have to have their egos stroked 24/7 to be satisfied with a product. Not me. I’ve seen men do great things and terrible things. I always have room to grow. This is a product for men who want simplicity, an extremely close shave, and luxury mixed in with their morning routine. Self care is important, and while these aren’t the cheapest or least wasteful razors and blades on the planet, they will get you excited to shave, and I highly recommend them, especially if you’re looking for luxury and aren’t ready for safety razors yet.

In the past, I've bought many razors; from disposable ones to ones with bulky soaps attached..to exclusively woman razors, and nothing really worked. I would shave, get many bumps and in a couple of HOURS, I'd feel like i didn't do anything at all But this razor is a game changer! It sounds like I'm exaggerating, but it truly shaves like a pro. It leaves your skin super smooth from just a stroke and the pivoting head allows you to shave without struggling too much. I stopped worrying about bumps too because it gets rid of all the hairs (even the smallest ones) without leaving you feeling itchy or like you missed a spot! Bonus points for the case, that feels almost magnetic and i can set it away without it taking any space at all! So, if you ask me, I'd DEFINITELY buy it again, especially as a woman! (PS, the price is very good for what it offers, so take advantage of it!)

After addressing the packaging issue (a Human Factors Study would have been beneficial here), I would have no hesitation in awarding it a solid 5 stars. For now, it earns a deserving 4 stars from me!
