If you're looking for a super crisp picture, you should invest in a big screen TV or put a couple of thousand bucks into a laser projector and good screen. I use this in my apartment and can move it from room to room if needed without using a screen. My favorite thing about the unit is that it rotates vertically, so it's easy to show my daughter videos of space or her favorite cartoon on the ceiling. The speaker is very loud and clear, but you can link other speakers if you want. I use mine with a 3rd gen Amazon Fire Stick because it fits in the unit perfectly at 3.4" long. I have 4k Fire Sticks, but they are too long, and need to be plugged into the unit externally. The battery lasts as long as advertised, so it should be able to do a full movie unplugged. When unplugged, the picture automatically gets dimmer to conserve battery, so pick your showing times and locations well.
