He loves to build with those big cardboard blocks that look like giant bricks, but it is easy for those to slide off or be knocked over. These Gigi blocks interlock, so you can build things that don't tip over or fall apart easily. You can build very sturdy buildings with these! I didn't have to put them together, but I guess that part is a bit time-consuming. Three of my adult children made quick work of it the night after our Christmas celebration when the little ones had gone to bed, and by the time I came back the next morning, the kids had built a great fort with the blocks.
