Made in TAIWAN, not china
It was delivered by truck on a pallet. We unboxed the compressor and found that it was boxed extremely well to avoid damage in shipping. We put on the rear wheels, air filters and supplied synthetic oil. Compressor is obviously well made with heavy metal parts including the belt guard. Very happy with my purchase and glad I did not get sucked into buying a china POS with better reviews.

Arrived damaged
Looks like a nice compressor but it arrived damaged - cylinder head had cooling fins snapped off and pressure relief valve had been pushed into fan housing which was dented. Tried to resolve with ingersoll Rand - left messages twice with support, and waited on support line for > 1 hour. Gave up and returned via Amazon.

Quality appears very good, owner’s manual- not good, and overall design/layout needs improvement…
Owners manual is terrible, no adjustments, (cutoff pressure etc) illustrations are for something else. Basically useless. Tank drain valve hits ground before completely opened and poorly positioned, and gauges face in wrong direction making them hard to see.

I am Dissapointed . This item is labeled MADE IN CHINA right on it . Making it overpriced. I paid for a USA item as stated in the info online . This one has an audible little knock when running ,It is for home use only so hopefully it last as long as my old compressor .
