gluten free?

MitoQ Joint does not contain any material of gluten source; however we believe in transparency with our customers and we unfortunately have not tested our previous batches in full for acceptable limits of Gluten. We can confirm that starting from this July (2021), MitoQ Joint are now tested for traces of Gluten and we aim to have a fast transition from our previous batches to our now tested batches.

Why is there carrageenan in a liver support product. They use carrageenan in lab experiments to induce liver toxicity???

Hi there, we can confirm that MitoQ Liver does not contain carrageenan. Furthermore, Carrageenan is a very minor component of the clear vegetarian hard-shell capsules we use. The quantity of this ingredient in the capsules is extremely low. Despite it being safe, due to customer feedback we are moving to carrageenan-free capsules throughout 2020 and 2021, in which MitoQ Liver was part of that transition. We value our customers' concerns and appreciate your feedback.

It says contains soy - why? How much & is it gmo?

Lecithin in the “other ingredients” would be sourced from soy unless stated otherwise.  If you are allergic to soy then avoid. Ask manufacturer but I would assume less than 2% of product is soy.  We use the plain CoQ10 of this brand.
