I have been using this moisturizer for years now, and I will never stop. It goes on so smooth and just melts into my skin. There is no greasy or sticky feeling after application. It's more of a gel/water based texture versus a cream. It makes my skin look glowy and healthy without making it too oily. I use this at night as part of my skin care routine, and I also use it under my makeup because it makes my skin so smooth. It has never made me breakout or made my skin feel heavy. I also appreciate that there's no scent. The jar is thick glass which feels very nice. I have dropped it several times and it's still perfect. While I think it's a bit expensive for the size, I'm more than willing to pay for this product. I have oily/combination skin with redness and acne, just as an fyi.

This is perfect for oily skin. Typically moisturizers make my face breakout but I have been using this for weeks and have not experienced any breakouts. It is very lightweight, easily absorbs into skin, and leaves skin so soft. The container is small but you only need to use a little. It is not sticky. It is not greasy. I will definitely repurchase!

The best, the absolute BEST moisturizer there is hands down. My aging skin has hit a new level of dryness along with even my earlobes getting dry, I tried everything, every brand of moisturizer then turned to things like castor oil, Shea butter, tallow arghhhh... I went back to using the ever popular costly O.o.O. products, you know, the olay products & I was getting nothing but perfumed lotions or a lot of zinc oxide. Then I got a sample size of this Clinique moisturizer & I swear my skin went "ahhhhh" immediately as I applied it. I know that's how I felt & continue to feel each time I apply it! It's got such a rich light texture to it, unlike thick lotions this immediately begins to absorb into your skin, there's no perfumey scent & I have no adverse effects from this quality product. A little goes a very LONG way, it smooths overtop of your skin so easily with great coverage. It works from the very second you apply it, I can honestly say that it did for me! After spending a day in our pool & working in the yard under our hot southern sun my face would feel totally "tight" & parched at the end of the day, since I've been using this Clinique moisturizer my skin has never felt better not to mention that it looks better! I love how is packaged with the seal under the lid as it keeps it contained in the little jar & not up in the lid. No doubt I highly recommend this product with a 5 Star review! It's the best!

I have oily skin and have spent nearly two decades trying to find a moisturizer that actually performs. Clinique Moisture Surge is the first and only one to truly deliver. It has a lightweight texture that isn't greasy or tacky in the slightest; my skin literally drinks it up. Since I started using it daily, I’ve noticed my skin actually produces less oil, and it feels significantly more plump and hydrated. My makeup also lasts much longer and sits better on my skin throughout the day. If you’ve been cycling through products for years without success, give this one a try!

I used this product for several years when I was younger and it was fantastic. I stopped using it for a while and decided to try it again. I am now in my 50's and even though it feels beautiful and soothing going on it makes my face feel tight and dry. Noticed I'm getting redness and slight burning around my nose and mouth the more I use it. I even had some pimples on and off. I actually went back to using ponds cold cream and it cleared up the burning and the pimples. My skin is getting more mature and it actually loves the cheap stuff with Mineral oil. It's still a nice product but skin changes and do what works for your skin. Don't take advice from other people. Try with a travel size and see if it works. I think this may be better suited for normal oily skin not normal to dry skin.

I’m a guy and this is my second purchase because it’s that good. I have really oily skin, It doesn’t feel heavy or greasy. It feels good on my skin. I even use it under my eyes.

This is a great hydrator to mix with bb cream or tinted moisturizer that might be a little thick and in need of making a little go a longer way, I use it for that or on its own when I just need something light for the day. It’s good on its own as well, dries quickly and isn’t sticky at all. I only wash my face at night (sensitive, fussy skin) and use a damp cloth in the morning to blot off any excess oil from the night. Throw this on if you don’t want to use a thick moisturizer in the morning. You don’t have to use a lot, it’s very velvety and goes on smooth. Like all Clinique products, it’s high quality, lasts a long time and is on the pricier side. If you’re familiar with Clinique this is a good addition; if you’re new to the brand this is a great starter.
