My husband has been using these shoe trees for years, and they’ve truly held up beautifully. The craftsmanship is excellent. It has solid, smooth cedar that still has that clean, natural aroma even after long-term use. The adjustable split toe design fits perfectly in a variety of his dress shoes, keeping them in shape and helping prevent those unwanted creases that appear over time. They also do a great job of absorbing moisture and maintaining a fresh scent inside the shoes, which makes a noticeable difference if you wear leather often. Unlike cheaper versions we’ve tried, these haven’t warped, cracked, or lost tension, and the hardware still operates smoothly after years of daily use. It’s one of those purchases that feels old-fashioned in the best way. They're simple, effective, and made to last. Easy buy without hesitation for reliability, quality, and value. Great weight and design as well.

Awesome shoe trees, and they work even better than expected! The cedar wood build is awesome for pulling scent and moisture from the shoe after wearing, the expanding toe is a "must-have" for fitting in your shoe and holding the exact shape you want to keep your leather and suede in peak condition, and the "large" size fits my U.S. men's 10.5 + 11s, perfectly! (Though don't go with my size for any larger... 11s are quite literally a "perfect" maximum fit!) My only complaint is that I wish I had 4-6 more pairs!!! Although these are one of the cheapest options for a decent shoe tree out there, they are expensive, unfortunately. :/ (But in their defense, the raw materials price of cedar tree wood are through the roof lately, so their pricing is actually quite fair tbh...) **** WARNING: IF YOU HAVE A LARGER SHOE SIZE THAN A U.S. MEN'S 11, GET THE NEXT SIZE FROM THE ONES I BOUGHT (GET THE "XL" INSTEAD)!!! — If you get the "Large" like I did, and you have a shoe U.S. men's size of 11.5+ or larger, then the toe expansion will not expand and the shoe tree will not be a snug fit in your shoe to get the result you're looking for, which defeats the purpose of using shoe trees, haha! Again, AWESOME product. I'm very happy with my purchase and looking to buy 4-6 more! :D

I have been purchasing from this company for years and have always been wonderfully pleased with my purchases! (I have most likely purchased over 25 pairs of shoe trees from this company!) The shoe trees are very nicely crafted and durable - I have had some of these for over 15 years and they function as well now as when I purchased them. Thank you, Stratton. Two pairs of shoe trees in red cedar packed in a box and wrapped in tissue paper. The shoe trees have a nice cedar smell and have split toes, so they will wedge into place depending upon the shoe width. The heel piece is shaped like a "J" to provide a place to grab when you want to remove them from your shoes. The trees come sized, so you can get the right size for your shoes. Cedar trees like these work particularly well with shoes that have a leather lining to absorb moisture and stop odors. They seem well constructed and were a good value.

I purchased this shoe tree for a new pair of boots. Stratton has become my go to for cedar shoe trees so like always they were my first stop. These were listed as a shoe/boot tree so I gave it shot. As always, they showed up in a nice shiny box, well-packaged and protected during shopping, and topped off with a fresh, authentic, cedar smell. Since I have wider feet I wanted you to go with a split to version to help cover more shoe. They are solid, well-crafted and easy to use, the only two hang ups are that they were not a good fit for a Size 13 relaxed fit boot, which leaves more room in the toe for thicker socks. This extra space was just a little too much for the boot tree stretch and fill. I purchased the biggest size sold by Stratton, but it was not quite enough for the size of the shoe. The second hangup was that I would’ve preferred the heel of the tree be a little higher to accommodate for the boot’s upper quarter. I will likely have to get a true boot tree or boot spacers at some point in the future. Overall, I’m satisfied with the product and will purchase again as I get more shoes.

solid high quality product for my high end shoes, I like it a lot

These appear to be well-made. They fit as described and are easy to put in and take out. I have a set of cedar shoe trees that I bought over 30 years ago from a leading high-end retailer, and these fit as well as my older set. Time will tell how well they hold up, but for the price, I am willing to wait for many years to find out.
