I needed some momentary on switches which DID NOT have the LED lighting that many doorbell switches use. The tiny current that passes through the LED lit switches I tried was enough for my equipment to sense that the button was being activated when it was not.These are solid. I tested all five with an ohm meter and they all work perfectly. They have nice clean "wire through hole and secure with screw" connections so you do not have to wrap wires around the screws. Plus, there is a clean barrier between the connections to reduce the possibility of shorts.They are 5/8" in diameter at the threads which is what you need to fit in the standard wall plates made for switches and cable pass through. Be careful because some switches I looked at were larger and would not have fit in those plates.I also like that the button extends out from the switch, rather than being flush or slightly domed. I had tried those other types, but you had to push the button into the switch, making harder with large fingers.Highly recommend.

Purchased to make a garage door opener for my motorcycle, works fine. looking for more projects to use the other 4 buttons on. if I had to ding something, I wish the preinstalled wires were a little longer but nothing to lose a star over.

TL; DR — great little push button, functions as expected, and seems to be durable.I bought this to solve an issue with my 2016 Honda Odyssey, namely, that the lift gate release went bad multiple times. Unfortunately the lift gate release is integrated either backup camera, turning a simple switch into a $200+ replacement part.To solve, I just drilled a small hole though the lift gate (hidden underneath the lift gate handle assembly), sprayed the hole with clear coat to help prevent rust, and installed this button. It wired into the connector parallel with the regular lift gate release, so either can work (when the normal lift gate release feels like it.) this button has weathered New York rain and winters for several years (which seem to be the downfall of the original mechanism) better than the OEM switch, and with plenty of spares.
