Got this product to keep an eye on our house during the day but didn't want to overpay for other products out there. Super easy to set up with instructions from the app. I was able to connect my phone to the receiver then the camera within about 10min. I can check the mi home app on my android phone, and my missus can do the same on her tablet. Product comes with bracket to install outside, and overall offered great quality image. It also has a mic so I was able to pick up audio off the camera while checking it. Plus, I managed to set up some motion detection so it alerted me on the phone when somebody came near my house. overall, a quality product. Can't really fault it.

I bought this for outdoor monitor, I spent 10 minute to install this. Hence it is super easy to install without need of wire or cable. And install also the Xiaomi app easily that let me to monitor my outdoor front door even when I am in the work. best thing I get from this xiaomi camera is 7 days free storage and I also can record video using Sd card. Highly recommended this product!!!

This is the third of these I have bought. After the latest update from Xiaomi it has rendered the three cameras practicality useless. The time it takes for the camera to wake up means people and cars can enter the area and leave without getting caught on camera. Battery life is 60% of what I used to get. If I could undo the last two updates the camera would be the best

Reliability: I ordered four of these cameras two years ago. Now, two of them have failed for unknown reasons. One stopped charging and turns off unexpectedly while in use, while the second started drawing too much power and drains completely within a day. It's not a bad battery, but the processor overheats. No signs of moisture penetration were found in either of the failed cameras upon opening. I've now ordered two more replacement cameras, as I have a receiver kit and the others aren't compatible. Operating: at night in the rain, it's practically impossible to see anything—the IR backlight obscures the camera. Also, the rubber plug on the charging port needs additional waterproofing. I taped a piece of tape over it so it completely covers the rubber plug. And of course, camera resolution is quite outdated in today's world. License plates and faces are difficult to see beyond 10 meters. Also, please note when ordering that the camera itself will not work without the receiver. The picture shows the camera and receiver, but in reality, they only sell the camera without the receiver, even though the price is almost the same as the kit with the receiver.

the outdoor camera cannot work alone, it has to be paired with an in door receiver which is not included in this product. Return process is not user friendly, I need to pay the posting by myself and claim back from the seller. Has been sent out the return item for more than a week but still not receive the refund.

Excellent product, very easy to install, highly recommended

These cameras tend to live their own life. The set up although not difficult it is not smooth, I had to repeat some steps as it would just go blank. The camera outside thinks for itself. Sometimes it decided to pick up a motion and sometimes it won't. The battery is a laughing matter. It would probably last 90 days if left in the box and never triggered. I have installed my cameras outside the house, after a week front was showing 58% and garden 72%. I got to add that cameras were switched off from motion when we were at home. You can do the maths. Very dissapointed.

I charged the battery on 7/13 and it is only 23% left and it's only 9 days after.

Muy buena cámara, pero a la app le faltan opciones como las de otras marcas de cámaras, su fuerte es la pila lleva dos semanas y apenas va al 70% en una zona de tráfico regular, la imagen es muy buena, pero su debilidad es que tiene un retraso al momento de grabar, y a veces no se ve que paso, pero por 1000 pesos no hallarás nada mejor y para checar la calle esta muy bien.

Almadan önce araştırdığımda şarjı çok az gidiyor diyorlardı, bende yaklaşık 3 aydır bina içinde aktif durumdalar. 2 tane aldım, bir tanesi sürekli aktif yani insan geçen yerde 2.si ayda 1-2 kişi geçen yerde. Aktif olan %28 şarja indi, diğeri hala %72 şarjı var. Eğer ilk defa alıyorsanız en önemli nokta bu kameranın tek başına çalışmadığını bilmeniz gerekiyor. İç mekan alıcısı olmadan bağlayamazsınız.

Amazon has just opened services here in South Africa and unfortunately are already selling "pre-opened/returned products", the camera had already been opened and had a scratched lens. This was not what I was expecting from Amazon, also their return policy involves printing labels and physically taking the product to a Courier Guy office, where the service from Takealot is so much better. Not a good start for me with Amazon South Africa My other camera's function well and so long as there is not excessive motion, the battery life lasts months and the visual quality is good
