I recently cut my hair into a cute short bob. My hair is very fine and soft. It dries fast and if I don’t curl it while it’s wet, it will just dry as it pleases. This brush was purchased day after haircut, and this is my first full week of using it regularly. It’s affordable, the smaller bristles do a good job capturing my hairs and pulling them back into place. The center is a lightweight ceramic, so when it heats up with the blow dryer not only does it dry the hair but shapes the hair as you apply gentle tension. I will slowly and gently roll the brush away from my head while it’s drying a section of hair to give it some pull and form the hair to curl under my chin the way I like. The grip on the handle makes it easy to stay firm and steady. I have also used it with a volumizing foam and it still worked great. The pictures taken have no foam, but you can see the back of my head where my hair gets shorter has a great volume-bump that looks like I just got it done at the salon. That’s a lot of volume with no styling product assistance, that’s how amazing this brush is. The brush is small enough to fit in my makeup bag if I need to travel, and I love the gold color. It makes me feel like I’m pampering myself when I style my hair.

This brush is the best roller brush I have ever owned AND I did nor pay a fortune for it. It smoothes the hair and provides great volume. I have small hands and it fits perfectly. It would make a great gift for someone who blow drys hair.

First, my little peeve: The brush was made to dry nicely with its rounded side edge design, but I am used to putting my old brush on the counter on its edge. The older brush was very handy placed that way for me. This one falls over so has to be stored in a heavy container or placed on its side, which I do not prefer. It is only a little disadvantage to some people, but enough to deduct a star. My older brush had to be replaced only due to the rubber on the handle beginning to disintegrate, not due the brush wearing out-I liked it better, but it is no longer available by the manufacturer. Second, the good: It is attractive and rather elegant in color -gold- for a (hairbrush), made well. Seems like it will last a long while. It is great for the job!

I buy all Careme Beauty Products when they come out due to there quality. When I saw this year they introduced a Round Natural Boar Bristle Brush with Ceramic Brush Barrel, in a beautiful gold color, and in Medium and Large sizes, which are hard to find, I immediately ordered both of tge sizes. I have frizzy, curly, unruley hair. I own a set of high end boar bristle brushes made by a famous hair designer, but the are nade of wood, and not as large so my hair does not get the smooth, shiney and yet styled look I want. This new Careme Boar Bristle Brush, with ceramic barrel is the BEST blow out round brush to hit the market since they have been making blow dryers and brushes in the 1970s. I use both sizes on my short Bob. In fact, without these brushes I would not beable to have my hair cut in this short Bob and have it styled in 7 minutes without product in hair. The brush also has a confortable rubber grip on handle that is sturdier than any brush handle I have purchased in my life time, and I have tried them all, given the curly, frizzy, unruly hair I have. The natural Boar Bristle gives your hair a wonder grip while blowing it out, yet the way this brush us engineered, the brush slides easily through your hair. It took me 7 minutes from start to finish, and no aching arms ir wrists. Using Careme's latest blow out brush. It is the best blow out brush I have used since I stated blowing my hair out in the early 1970s. My husband complimented my hair style after using this brush and that us saying a whole lot. Also, I slept in my hair and awoke with the same hairstyle. Thank You Careme. Another winning product. And it is a beautuful gold brush that presents nicely for gifts. I dont know how they can sell such quality at such liw price. Enjoy....

This is an excellent brush a my hair is shoulder length and fine and this brush with boar bristle and synthetic pins (to help detangle) does an amazing job. I got the larger bore size and my hair is full yet sleek with a slight turn under.. just what I wanted! It doesn't pull, and the hair doesn't wrap around the bristles too tightly. Perfect!

I really like the brush in itself. My hair is thin, and this brush holds it firmly. This was my biggest issue with other brushes, which couldn't hold on to a strand of hair long enough with a little tension to finish the heat/cold cycle. My complaint is the handle which is rubbery and textured. Which sounds good in theory, but reality is that my hair gets stuck in it while rotating the brush during. I have to put the blow dryer down to untangle and start over. I tried to cover the 1/3 adjacent to the barrel with tape. It made it a little better, but I still get caught. Too bad. I really like the brush.

I have long hair almost to my waist and lately it’s been looking all stringy on the bottom and just plain dull. I tried all kinds of expensive products that promised to add shine, thickness or prevent breakage, but I still looked like Garth in Wayne’s World. I was days away from having 5 inches cut off my once lovely hair when I randomly thought about boar hair brushes. I have no idea why, but I did some research and found this brush. I needed a new round brush ,it wasn’t expensive, so I figured…why not? Today I took a shower and washed my hair. Then I did something totally out of character….I read directions. It said not to use the brush on wet hair, to wait until the hair was damp. So, I got dressed, made the bed and put on some makeup before I styled my damp hair. I took the first section of hair and styled as usual. I had no extra products on my hair, nada, I just rolled my hair in the brush and dried as usual. When I finished that section I couldn’t believe my eyes. No more stringy ends. Seriously, I had this thick, shiny section of hair, so I kept going . Maybe I’m so shocked by the results, I only think it was easier and much faster with this brush. Who cares! My hair hasn’t looked this good in a very long time. Even my boyfriend,….who notices NOTHING….. remarked about how nice my hair looked. I’m sold. Seriously, this brush made a HUGE difference. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed . Oops, I forgot to add that I ran a comb through my hair while it was wet and wrapped it in one of those extra absorbent hair towels. Didn’t want anyone to try this with damp tangled hair.

I highly recommend this BRUSH. I purchased the smallest size (1.3 inch) I have fine, short to medium length hair. I have always struggled using a round brush with a blow dryer to style my hair. I have used an electric hot air curler; this, though is always a problem when I travel overseas, and having the right plugs/converters. This brush will do the trick. My hair glides through the brush, does not tangle, and the thermal base, facilitates effective styling.
