*****Update-Feb 8th, 2023**** Before editing this review again, I was thinking, "How can I find a single element that adequately expresses all aspects of a phone mount?" Approximately 3 years ago, after having the pleasure of contacting VANMASS customer service about the suction cup temperature issue, I determined that their customer service goes above and beyond any other offered by an internet-based company. Usually, when purchasing an item the transaction is over after I can use it as expected and the seller has resolved all my issues. But what I didn't expect was that when I returned to the office back from my Xmas break in 2023 I received an email from a VANMASS wishing me a happy new year and wanting to know how the product was performing now. The 36-month warranty offered by VANMASS is more than a simple guarantee. No matter how much time has passed they still consider the needs and feelings of each customer. These guys have again renewed my belief in humanity with their over-the-top customer service. To the initial query, I believe I have an answer, and that factor is the CERTIFICATION OF TIME. Although the Amazon marketplace is sophisticated, the mission of the phone mount is simple - to make driving easy. This mount has done that for the past 3 years, and I think it will do so well beyond that given its high quality of it. I travel quite frequently with my kids and love to go on adventures with them. Each year we prepare a list of places and people we wish to visit that year. Now that the world has opened up again and the once-sleepy cities have long since been awakened it's time to get out into the world again. We traveled through numerous cities with this car mount, ensuring that we can reach where we need to be. When it's cool outside I'll use the suction cup and when it's hot I'll move the mount to the vents. Either way, you can use the holder to hold your phone as it charges while also allowing it to navigate. This not only ensures safe driving but also consistently saves us money on expensive gasoline Ultimate success in life is created by day-to-day persistence, a process that is often tedious, repetitive, and requires patience. The same experience that this product has undergone allows it to continue to exist today. It is unique but only because it has gone through a long period of improvement. I discovered that they had added more colors. Among them is purple, my daughter's favorite color, I didn't hesitate to get one then because I had no idea that any company even made a purple phone holder. When it arrived, my daughter couldn't wait to open the box because she was excited to have a mount that would match her purple outfit lol. The mount looked as adorable as she did. If you told one customer service of a car mount company that every time you finish eating Mexican food, your car mount will be fall off, so you want a refund, what should the customers service do? VANMASS gave us the right answer, they communicate with me over 10 emails, finially solved the issue. I have to say that the moment I got VANMASS I was very satisfied. The package is very simple and elegent. You can tell it is not the same thing as the $5 car mount on the market. The product is an artwork, the cutting is neat, all parts are complete, and the installation is very easy. At first, there was no issue at all, then something strange happened. There are two Mexican restaurants not far from my company, I picked up my lunch there sometimes. The strange thing is that every time I come back from Serrano's, my car mount will fall off, and then I need to clean the suction cup and re-attach them to the dashboard. But I didn't encounter this problem when I came out of another Mexican restaurant. I put the car in the same parking lot, it is so frustrating. I contacted VANMASS for warranty, I think VANMASS is a little wronged though. This kind of thing keeps happening, it is really frustrating. I did not not expect that, the customer service of VANMASS, reply me immediately, and did not think it was a spoof. After she got the details, she asked a question about how long I usually stay in Serrano's. Then I understood the problem. Serrano's business is better than the other restaurant in near street. It took me about one hour to finish my lunch at Serrano's instead half-hour at others. Customer service told me that when the temperature outside the car is 100 ℉， after half an hour, the temperature inside the car is about 130℉, after one hour, 150℉. The car mount fall out because of the temperature growth rapidly. From then on, I would insert the car mount into the the vent or park the car in the shade during the hot weathers, no matter which Mexican restaurant I went to, I never encountered this problem again, lol I am very grateful to the customer service of VANMASS for helping me solve the problem. I truly feel that VANMASS is professional and responsible, the reply is timely and not perfunctory. In short, VANMASS is a brand I CAN TRUST! Best shopping experience on Amazon.

This phone mount is a game changer. I was originally worried that my phone wouldn't fit. I have a galaxy s26 ultra with a case on it, so safe to say it's a pretty large and heavy phone, but it fits perfectly inside the phone mount. The mount is very strong as well. The suction cup part is sticky so it sticks to the window/dash better. It also has bolts that you can tighten to make it completely rigid, or just enough to where it holds your phone, but you can also move it around. Overall 5/5. Been looking for a good mount for a while and am glad I finally found one.

This appears to be a pretty good product. Just installed this in my 20-year-old Saturn. No fancy screens in this car; definitely need a phone holder. I use an iPhone and I really like the two-toe footrest on this holder. The brackets on the holder squeeze together to fit the phone, no matter the size, and then the release button located on the back makes it easy to pop the phone out when at your destination. Also, the holder offers adjustable height, which I find particularly accommodating. The item comes with a simple, easy-to-follow assembly (which is minimal) and installation manual. It also comes with a vent mount (which I will not use), if that is your preference.

This is my second purchase of the Vanmass Ultimate Car Phone Mount. We use the vent mount. I is solid and works great for approx a year to a year and a half. The first one we had broke after 6 months at the vice mount. It was within warranty and VANMASS quickly sent me a replacement. it lasted for approx a year. Now out of warranty I had to buy another one. I fully expect to use the warranty after 6 months to a year. HOWEVER... This is the best overall mount I have found and they have a good warranty and service. I just wish they would redesign the vice mounting system.

Very good cell phone holder made by a very good company! If you are looking for a solid holder that can handle large phones, then look no further. I have a Samsung S23Ultra in an Otterbox case with ThinOptics reading glasses case attached and this holder holds the whole package securely (sometimes too securely). Clamping and releasing the phone is quick and easy with very little vibration driving down the road. Suction cup mount to the windshield is best. The vent mount is less secure and needs to be reset periodically. Not hard to do, but more messing around than the suction cup which is "set & forget" Why did I say "sometimes too securely"? Because it clamps the phone so tightly that its grip is stronger than the plastic ball mount. As my son found out, removing the phone enough times without pushing the release button will result in the fingers of the ball mount breaking. I contacted Vanmass to see if I could buy a replacement head and they let me know that the unit was still under warranty and promptly sent me a whole new unit. Great to see when a company stands behind their product! Summary: Solid mount and excellent customer service. I highly recommend (just remember to push the release button!)

In selecting the Vanmass car phone mount, "military grade durability" was high among my priorities. From the adhesive used with the suction base, adjustable/extending arm, swivel ball mount, to the secure and protective grip, everything about the mount is first rate. This is the best mount I've ever owned. I've never had my iPhone in a better position relative to the driver's seat. I was disappointed when the four threaded tabs that are part of the ball clamp broke off. This occurred past the return date. I assumed that Vanmass would like to know about a weak link in its otherwise strong chain, so I submitted a note on their Support line. I was surprised and pleased to be contacted by a member of the Vanmass Support Team, who set things in motion to mail a replacement mount to me. She was clearly interested in understanding details about the defect rather than just hurrying to get this service ticket closed. I provided photos and a full description. In a follow-up email, I learned that the company had conducted a thorough investigation and determined that a small batch of defective products had entered the market due to a supplier that supplied non-compliant materials. Vanmass severed their relationship with that supplier and worked with Amazon to remove and destroy any remaining faulty inventory. The replacement unit they sent me was made of improved materials. I've been using it for three weeks now, and it has perrformed flawlessly. I was grateful for the attention given to my note. Not only did someone respond quickly, but I was shown the utmost courtesy, relevant information, and a replacement. Outstanding after-the-sale service. Happily, the new mount arrived the night before I left on a road trip from Tennessee to Michigan, so I was able to install early on the morning I left and enjoyed using it the entire trip. In my view, Vanmass' excellent product is matched by its world-class service.

I don't like follow up surveys. All is discussed is what the vendor wants to focus on and wants to hear. A review lets me relay my experience. I originally purchased the phone mount about this time two years ago. The original phone mount was installed with ease and functioned great for about 10 months when it inexplicably fell off I. I followed the instructions for reattachment. No problem. The reattached mount performed great for also about 10 months but it fell off the second time, however, it would not reattach. The summer heat in closed cars routinely exceed 130° in my area. The edge of the original suction cup actually melted making it impossible for the suction cup to seal. I was impressed it lasted as long as it had. I felt it was time for replacement. Vanmass has a troubleshooting problem solving process like no other. I followed their instructions and submitted a narrative, with pictures, for the issue. The person on the other end assisting with the problem decided to send replacement portion for the faulty phone mount. All of this at no cost to me. The installation instructions, the associated video, even what I saw on YouTube, implies placement of the suction cup directly to the surface. However, there was an adhesion disk included replacement mount that seemed to be ignored. The instructions don’t discuss of suggest its use. It seems like it's optional. I found it isn't. Vanmass should beef up the instructions. When the replacement mount repeatedly failed to attach to the dashboard I decided to try the adhesion disk and that worked. Other than that, I love the product. I recommend it and I would buy one again. Making the need parts available (with assistance) shows that you care about your customers after the purchase.

I have had various phone holders over the past years, and this is by far the best. Great suction, good angle adjustments, and the the mechanism to release the phone is smooth and precise. Keep in mind it has only been about a week of use so durability may become an issue, but as of right now I am impressed.
