If you're in it for the macros and the protein, this is the best choice on the market. But Biltong is NOT exactly jerky. It's yummy, but at the same time it's still a bit of an acquired taste. The Peri Peri flavor is (in my opinion) a bit more approachable than the original flavor for those with a more western palate. Chuck it in the fridge, work your way through it an ounce at a time. It really does work at adding flavor and body to sandwiches, salads, soups and whatever. Especially the little bits at the bottom of the bag. I don't swear by the stuff or live off it, but it's the best at doing what it does. Easy 5 stars.

Had really high hopes for this product as I had read an article online that it was one of the healthiest and tastiest jerky on the market. It has a flavor reminiscent of shoe leather and the texture close to same. I wish I hadn't ordered an entire pound of this putrid jerky. i can't even give this stuff away at work. Valuable and expensive lesson learned.

Buyer beware, you won’t be able to keep your hands out of the bag. This is an amazing snack that compliments just about anything. Put it on top of salads, grab a handful for quick snack, one of my favorite ways to enjoy Biltong is by adding it to a cup of bone broth. Doesn’t matter if the broth is beef or chicken, just add a handful and you got yourself a solid meal. If you’re watching calories and looking for a quick meal, grab a cup of broth and drop some peri peri in - you’re welcome...

It's ok, but I was disappointed to learn that there is no peri-peri pepper in this peri-peri flavored biltong instead, it's just Cayenne. Also, I'm used to biltong being distinct slices that are a little more moist and have a little bit of "chew". This stuff is very dry, and broken up almost to the point that it's powdery. I don't think I would buy it again.

While traveling through South Africa a few years ago, I got to try the amazing snack Biltong during a safari ride. I instantly became hooked and couldn't wait to purchase. Unfortunalty, I was not able to bring it back with me to the US. You can imagine my excitement when I saw an ad on Instagram for Brooklyn Biltong! It was ordered through prime within minutes. I cracked the bag open as soon as it was delivered and it didn't disappoint! The flavors are spot on and brought me back to my wonderful travels through SA. I've gotten my boyfriend hooked on it as well! Can't wait to try the other flavors!

This is for the Peri Peri flavor only. The original and steakhouse flavors are excellent and I give them 5 stars easily. The issue that I have with the peri peri is that the heat level completely drowns out the rest of the flavor. I like spicy food, but this just tasted like spice and nothing else, whereas the other flavors are complex and delicious.

Open the bad and then ate half of the bag in less then 10 minutes. look down and im like i really need to put this away. Move it acrross the room and next thing i know the bag is gone.. Damn i want more. Wish it was a little lower in price. But man for the quality and the taste of the product. Hands down best jerky i have ever eaten before. The best part is you can taste every seasoning in the product its just meat and salt
