Why did you choose this product over others?:Had this for a couple of months now and have had no issues at all with the performance. It hasn't glitched and there is no lag. I have it set up connecting laptop, monitor, wireless keyboard, and mouse, so pretty basic. I agree with others that the USB cable is quite short. No issue for me really, but I might have liked the option to place it elsewhere as annoyingly the port on my laptop is near the front, so it looks a bit untidy. The main drawback is that it gets very hot. I'm just mindful to keep it all ventilated and would recommend keeping an eye on that.

I used this item to connect two monitors to my laptop and it works perfectly. It's well made and solid.I would have liked the c connection lead to have been just a little longer. But on the whole it's a great product.

I purchased this hub with the expectation that it would simplify my setup, allowing me to connect two external monitors to my MacBook, each acting as a separate display. Unfortunately, the hub only mirrors the screen instead of extending it across both monitors, which was a major disappointment. Additionally, the USB-C charging port doesn't work, meaning I can't charge my MacBook through the hub as intended.I bought this product to have all my connections in one place and reduce cable clutter, but it hasn't worked as expected. Overall, I’m really disappointed with the performance and functionality of this hub and would not recommend it.

Just what I needed

I've been using this daily for 6 months. I use it to connect ethernet cable, Bluetooth keyboard / mouse and an external monitor between my work windows laptop and personal Macbook air.The positives are that it's cheap, convenient fr switching between laptops, has a good number of usb ports and the ethernet has been faultless.The negatives: it gets very hot very quickly, the length of the usb-c connecting cable is very short, so if you're using a laptop riser it hangs - which wont be good for the usb port. But the biggest and most frustrating issue is the HDMI will randomly lose connection and there's no simple fix to get it back. Tried rebooting, deleting and updating drivers but it will only work when it wants to.My suggestion would be to put your money toward something branded that's more reliable
