I have wanted some strip lights for soo long! I absolutely love these! Great quality! The adhesive is very strong and keeps the lights tight against the wall. Even with bumpy paint there was no issue with it sticking. The colors are fabulous, so many to choose from. Set up is very easy. Pull off the sticky tape and press where you want the lights to go. I have had no trouble with Bluetooth connecting. I run the lights through the app and it connects easily and quickly. There is such a variety of light themes to play with and set moods. This stip can be cut. I made sure to do it right down the middle of the copper lines. I recommend turning the lights off, making the cut, and then turning the lights back on again. What is cut off will not work. I had a bit extra that I cut off and the two ends overlap a little, but it's hardly noticeable if you stare real hard. These lights are so awesome! I highly recommend. Also it is so great to be able to turn up and down the brightness!

I’ve actually owned several Govee light strips over the years, and this is an upgraded version I’m currently using behind my headboard, and I get tons of compliments on it. What I really love about this model is the RGBIC technology, so you’re not stuck with just one color at a time. You can have multiple colors flowing on the same strip, and the effects look super smooth and high-end. The app is really easy to use, and there are so many preset modes, from calm ambient lighting to fun, colorful animations. The music sync is another big win, it reacts really well to sound and adds a great vibe when I’m listening to music or just relaxing. I also like how customizable everything is. You can DIY your own colors and effects, which makes it feel personal instead of generic. Installation was simple, the adhesive has held up well, and overall the lights feel durable and reliable, especially since I’ve been using Govee products for years now. If you’re looking to upgrade your bedroom or add some personality to your space, these are absolutely worth it. I love them, and I’ll probably keep buying Govee lights as I upgrade other rooms.

Great lights. Bought for my teenagers room and they are easy to use, add a fun touch, and fit great. Color is bright and beautiful. You can adjust from your phone and change the color/theme daily. Hooks up to what music you are playing to add fun spark to your room. Highly recommend. Easy to install, connect, and use! Easy to connect, sticks well, and functions great!

Work just fine as long as you’re careful! I don’t often write reviews, but I thought it could be helpful information since I’ve been through a few sets of these lights. Pros: - Good, easy to use app - Bright, responsive lights - Great customer service - Low price, especially for the length Cons: - Fairly easy to tear/break - Cannot use solderless connectors to navigate corners (to my understanding) - Hit or miss functionality - Not Alexa compatible (which is stated in description) I’ve purchased three sets of these lights, ultimately they are good you just have to be careful. 1. The first one worked ok for a while, but they stopped working, presumably, after my cat bit part of it 2. I ordered another set since they had been working fine until my cat got to it. When I received this one, it was clearly not programmed correctly or there was some other technical issue with it as it would not respond to the app, though the app would say it was connected and would flash random colors in random different sections. I contacted customer service who walked me through some troubleshooting and ultimately sent me a new set, which arrived very quickly, which was greatly appreciated. 3. The third set arrived and seemed to function just fine. After installing them in the same way that I had installed the first set of lights, they soon ended up tearing at a turn point (I used their suggested technique for navigating corners) and no longer worked past that section. I tried to find any solderless connectors that I could use (now that I had at least two sets of partially working lights) however I could not find any that would be compatible (which makes sense given these are RBGIC lights and Govee themselves also stated this to be the case) Ultimately, I don’t think I will buy another set and will probably just spend a little extra for a different set of light strips, likely from the same brand since a different model I’ve used before (TV backlights) has worked well and is Alexa compatible. Plus, Govee’s app is easy to use and has a nice UI.

Only had for 1-2 months BUT! They are awesome worth the money if you’re tired of the cheap ones breaking or loosing grip. They are bright, durable, the color is nice, has a app with so many options like a timer, strobe mode all of that perfect for what I need!

These are great led lights. Super easy to install and connect with the Govee app. i have mine under my desk to add back light. They are plenty bright enough and look great. They stuck on no problem and haven't had any issues.

This was final letter send to several high ranking personnel at Govee including, the CEO, VP of Marketing, Head of North American Sales and Operations, and Social Media Director, to mention a few. I am not “Customer.” The fact that I have been addressed that way throughout this entire ordeal is emblematic of how dismissively this situation has been handled. That is not smart business. I am beyond furious at this point. I have now received confirmation both in writing and verbally from your customer service team that Govee is standing by a resolution that misrepresents the value of my original order and completely disregards the broader harm caused by your company’s errors. Let’s be absolutely clear: The retail value of the items I ordered was $179.98, not $98.79. The loss of the product was caused by Govee shipping it to the wrong address. The weeks-long delay, misdirection to third-party insurance, and eventual out-of-stock outcome were all failures on Govee’s side, not mine. Reducing this situation to a refund number and pretending that makes me whole is unacceptable. Because I chose to do business with Govee, I am less than whole — financially, emotionally, and in terms of time and effort. I lost weeks chasing a problem I did not create. I missed a once-in-a-lifetime holiday moment. I dealt with embarrassment, disappointment, and wasted energy under the assumption that your company would eventually act reasonably. That assumption was wrong. What makes this worse is that my family has been long-time Govee customers. My three college-aged sons have used and recommended Govee lighting systems for years. That relationship is now permanently over. None of us will ever purchase another Govee product again. Unlike me, my sons are extremely effective on social media — as most people under 30 are. They will be sharing the exact facts and documented timeline of this experience across every major platform. One of my sons, a Georgia Tech student studying mechanical engineering and game design, is particularly well-positioned to speak credibly to the audience Govee markets to most aggressively. All of this was avoidable. At no point was this matter elevated to a supervisor or to anyone with the authority, judgment, or common sense to evaluate it beyond rigid, scripted responses. Instead, it remained trapped with policy-spewing automatons empowered only to repeat internal guidelines, despite repeated opportunities for Govee to act reasonably and mitigate the damage it caused. FIRST POST/Review This is how you lose loyal customers — and it didn’t have to happen. I want to share my experience so others understand what happened here. I placed an order well before Christmas for the limited-edition Govee x Evangelion 6+2 Gaming Wall Light and Expansion Kit (retail value $179.98). I ordered early specifically because it was limited edition and promoted as a special upgrade, and it was intended as a Christmas gift. Govee shipped the order to the wrong address. When I contacted support, I was told to work with a third-party shipping insurance company. After weeks of back-and-forth, that company confirmed the issue did not fall under their coverage and sent me back to Govee. After all that delay — caused entirely by Govee’s shipping error — I was informed the limited-edition product was now out of stock. The proposed resolution was a partial refund and a suggestion that I purchase something else. By that point, Christmas had passed. The gift never arrived. The entire reason for ordering early — the limited edition — was gone. A refund does not make up for the lost time, missed holiday, or disappointment, especially when the issue was not the customer’s fault. My family has been long-time Govee customers. My three college-aged sons, who have used and recommended Govee products for years, will not purchase from Govee again.
