Nice feeling brush. The grip is very positive due to the knurling on the handle. It is heavy because it's made from a solid billet of what I guess is brass but still feels good in the hand. Because of its size it may be better suited for face lathering rather than using with a bowl.

Its synthetic, no animal cruelty, and feels good in hand, good be a bit softer but overall better than expected

My major gripe with this brush is that some of the fibers have been placed into the knot upside down, meaning the knot can have a harsh, pokey feeling when pressed against the face to splay, which is a shame, although it does feel soft as a painter. Other than that, its not too bad. The handle is nice to look at and grippy with a good weight to it. The knot is around 21mm/22mm in diameter. Its not the easiest to splay but not the toughest. Overall its an ok brush, probably best as a painter due to its pokiness. There are better knots for the same money though (yaqi). The handle is the saving grace.

The brush itself is fine. The colour is more a light gunmetal. So if you want to associate with a chrome razor and chrome stand , there is a colour mismatch. In terms of quality, so far fine. It works well, lathers well and is soft to the skin with a good spread. Bristles have remained in tact over the last 3 weeks or so….

Getting into wet shaving and had a surprisingly horrible personal experience with the Proraso brush. I learned later that it’s made with boar hair, which was way too coarse and stiff for my very straight facial hair. I read that synthetic brushes are very soft so I tried the Bambaw and could not be happier. Immediately got a much closer shave with less irritation. Also loved the look and feel of the handle. It has little grooves so you won’t drop it. It gets very hydrated and lathers well.
