Because the don't mention the hole size...
Hole size is 5/16" diameter. I purchased two to hang my garage ceiling rack. Just be aware that you won't get identical hole placement so plan accordingly. And why Amazon would you ship the two pieces I purchased in two separate boxes? Oh that's right it's because your Amazon.

I live in a small town so limited supply and when I needed to buy this, no one in town had any so I found this on Amazon. It was a little expensive but was exactly what I needed and it worked well.
