Must-Have Video Panel Light
I recently picked up a Video Panel Light, and I can’t believe I waited so long to get one. It’s been a game changer for my video shoots. The light quality is excellent, providing consistent and flattering illumination that really enhances my videos. I use it for every single video shoot now. It’s easy to adjust, and the results are always impressive. If you’re into video production, this is definitely a tool you don’t want to be without. Highly recommended—don’t make the mistake I did by waiting so long to buy it!

High light output and easy for travel shoots
I have several of these on my set and can control them and other smaller/larger lights with the sidus link app. Really convenient and worth the minor set up. I have 3 in my travel kit and it makes it very easy to do accent or background lighting on any scene

Excellent for mobile photographers needing a quick setup or small offices.
Every purpose, the spare bedroom as my virtual office. This means I have a tiny space and needed to run meetings for several years in a room with West facing light. Needless to say, my lighting was terrible and I had no idea how other people took me on camera. I bought this light and a swing arm to improve my virtual meetings and it has been a huge help. I could’ve probably got by with just a white light, but I had thought I would use it for background lighting as well however that hasn’t panned out. The color space is amazing. The product is amazing and it will definitely change your video calls from a six to a nine for even beginners. If you’re a pro or if you shoot product shots or even talking head videos, I highly recommend this panel light. It packs away small if you go on travel shoots, it’s kinda heavy for a panel, but I feel it will last 10-20 years. I can run it all day in my office without it overheating it and the light quality so good. I don’t have to turn the intensity up. I think it’s an excellent value for the money. Buy one and I bet your will buy 2 more within a year.

If you're buying as battery powered on-location solution...read.
These lights are great overall. I bought these specifically for a lightweight, *battery powered* on-location solution for run and gun fast paced shoots where we don't have quick access to power and are moving fast. Quick hit interview type stuff etc. Con: Problem is, with any size/brand NPF battery I've tried, the lights die unexpectedly. Even the huge fancy ones. Fully charged etc. Pretty embarrassing on several occasions. One of the main selling points for me was that it could be powered on NPF batteries, but very unpredictably. The light will say 2hrs left for example then die 10min later with no warning. Even on 40%. I believe this is due to the power draw of these lights. You will absolutely need to purchase v-mount batteries/clamp and the d-tap to 2pin connector Aputure sells on their website ($15 each as of now). With a 190wh battery I was able to get about 2hrs out of this between 50-100% which is okay I suppose. All of this will cost you around $200 extra and that's just one battery. That being said, I do like these lights a lot. Small, lightweight, bright, and very well built. Great colors and options and Sidus link functionality. I wish I had known beforehand to just go the v-mount route with these. But enjoying the setup now.

Great quality, RGB, bright
I bought this as an addition to my P60x. Just like with the P60x, I’m very happy with the purchase. The material quality is top-notch. The RGB colors are just amazing. I showed the brightness in the video. It doesn’t overheat, even though it often runs at 100% power in Florida 🙂. Now I’m already thinking about buying the COB 60x. When adjusting the tilt angle, always make sure that the light's mounting bracket on the tripod is securely fastened, as the P60C is heavy and has fallen off several times. However, nothing happened to it because the plastic quality is top-notch. It's better to choose a heavier, more stable tripod.

Great lighting and control
A powerful light with a ton of features. Used this (and the included diffuser) for a product shoot for a restaurant and was perfect.

Started Smoking When Plugged In (See update below)
Mine just arrived today. I unpacked it, plugged it in and the unit started smoking heavily near the plug area with white smoke. I quickly unplugged it. By then the system would not come on just a slight motor or fan hum. Contacted Amazon for a replacement and it will be here Friday. When it comes without a battery, the last thing you would expect it to do is catch on fire. I am almost afraid to plug the new one in. I have not seen any reviews so mine might be the first. Update: Amazon sent a replacement and it worked perfectly with both the batteries and the power cord. I used it on my Saturday wedding and it was a huge hit on the dance floor as well as for the sparklers exit. I will buy a second one.

Great bang for your buck
Great bang for your buck. I'd actually say these are some of the best low cost professional light panels out there. They are very small and easy to get around, perfect for a documentary kit. I'm building up a small docu kit with these and some other RGB lights from Amaran. They are pretty tough to get rented by a legitimate production, but they are great when you are the person doing a one man band type project or doing your own mini studio set up. I am in LA, getting these to be consigned at a rental house isn't possible. Maybe if you are in a different market people would use them. I sure would.
