First off, I am just a dad that is reviewing a glove for playing with my kids. I used to play competitive baseball, so I do have knowledge of glove quality, but I was not looking for a top tier professional style glove.Review: As soon as I opened the box, I knew I had made a great purchase. Then I put my hand in the glove, and it was confirmed. For a glove at this price, this was a steal of a purchase. It is high quality soft leather. It is not going to peel like the leather shell glove that are only slightly cheaper. It is probably closer to 60% factory break-in rate and 40% user, but I still could take this to play right now. The color of the leather is great too! I would recommend the H stitch pocket because the web is thick and durable compared to the thinner tight checker webbing. 5-star to start/I will update the review if needed, over time.

I was looking for a glove to play with my kids with. This is a great glove at a good price. Its crazy how expensive baseball gloves are now, so it made me happy to find a solid glove at a good price. It had a good break in rate. Looks great. About the right amount of flexibility. Not a bad glove overall.

I bought a "used" one and it seemed brand new. The only issue I have is the fingers feel REALLY tight. I don't know if I just have to break it in or what but I haven't had one feel like this before hopefully it'll just break in and be good to go because I really like the glove otherwise! Still has that AMAZING new leather smell too. So it couldn't have been used much.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This was a great Father's Day present for my husband! He's been wanting a glove so that he can toss the baseball around with our son. It fits great and has held up for many times playing in the backyard.

In this price range, it's hard to find a better option than this glove. It's super comfortable and looks great. It comes virtually game ready out of the package, and is easy to break in. It was good to go after some manual working of the glove and a single catching session. I'm a grown man, 6'1", 275lbs with grown man sized hands, and the glove fits great. It would probably be an excellent choice for a bigger 12-13 yr old and will likely last throughout high school and beyond if properly maintained.
