A: I'm not exactly sure, it fits snugly on a 1/2 or 10mm(roughly).

A: Between 2-6 inches, compressed to extended. It's a factory replacement. Same size as factory.

**Q: The 6x4 measurement, is that the outter edge of the flange or where the actual boot starts ?**
A: Measurements @ flange are: 7 1/4"× 5 7/8"Measurements @ boot are: 5 1/4"× 4"

**Q: I baught this item for my 83 cj7 and it did not fit at all?**
