Medicated Extra Strength Body Lotion, Moisturizes, Relieves & Soothes, 14 oz Lotion

I tried this lotion on a whim. I was using another product but wanted something less expensive. I was pleasantly surprised. This lotion is great for both moisturizing and works well for itching also. It’s definitely worth trying. I save a few dollars buying this lotion instead of the other one I used.

I have sensitive skin and I'm constantly breaking out in hives and am itchy all the time. This lotion helps sooo much and i love the smell. It comes on the skin and immediately has a cooling effect. The itch goes away instantly and it has this good tingling sensation after due to the methanol, in a good way. I don't write reviews often but I absolutely love this and everyone I have recommended this to has also loved it. Definitely worth the money and it's a huge bottle. Lasts for a while. Better than any other lotion ive ever used and it's really moisturizing as well

I started working out a few months ago and because of that my skin has been so extremely dry. Like, ridiculously dry. Part of it is because I'm not drinking enough water, part is due to weather conditions/wind and lastly I am just prone to dry skin especially in the winter. I have tried aquaphor as well as many other name brand lotions specifically for extra dry and itchy skin and none of them have worked the way this Gold Bond Medicated Menthol lotion does. First off, it smells AMAZING - if you don't like the smell of menthol you will not like this lotion. It's not overbearing but you do smell menthol. Fortunately, I love it. The menthol also cools so incredibly well and soothes even the itchiest skin. Secondly, a little goes a long way - it spreads really well and the consistency is this deliciously creamy thick menthol goodness. Thirdly, it soaks in fast and is not greasy or wet at all. It leaves your skin feeling soft, quenched and delicious. I don't know how else to describe it - it just feel amazing in every way! I can't wait to try it when the mid-west winter sets in. Overall, I am so impressed with this lotion and don't see a need to use anything else. I wish I had discovered it sooner!

The first time I used this was just on my legs the day I bought it and didn't notice too much a menthol. I mean, it was there and I could feel it but it was mild. Tonight I took a really hot shower and used this on my full body and all I can say is HOLY SMOKES! It felt like Ben gay had been rubbed all over me, minus the strong scent. I got this stuff to help with itching but it's helped soothed my muscles, woke me up too! The scent is not empowering and actually goes away really fast but I have had this icy sensation for over a half an hour now. I felt FREEZING COLD and had to put a flannel onesie pajama on. BUT I am a weirdo who wanted the most menthol lotion out there and I think I found the holy grail with this one. I feel moist too but expected that from Gold Bond

Works very well to moisturize and stop stubborn itching, but does have a strong odor. I use this one at bedtime as a single person the smell does not bother me and it does dissipate within half an hour. Has a cool menthol feel, helps with sleeping if skin problems interfere with dreamland.

This lotion really helped with my itchy, dry winter skin. Well worth the price since you really don't need a lot of it to be effective. It is not at all greasy. (Something I hate)!

Love this lotion! Works well for skin that is easily irritated/skin allergy. Calms it down fast and leaves a cool minty feeling.

Easy to apply. Skin softer and helped with dry skin itch. Recommended highly.

I bought it because I’m pregnant and I know once your skin starts itching you can have stretch marks. So I bought it for emergency in case I would feel the itchy. And it works, if I feel the itch I put some let it dry it feels fresh and itch goes away. Then I continue with normal moisturize.

It took a while to find something that truely stops skin itching. This worked. After a few days of using it very happily, I can recommend.

Excellent cream after my cancer treatment I was left constantly itching. Tried many different creams to no avail, till a friend used this cream herself. She gave me a bottle and within days the rash had gone and the itching stopped.
