The first was a reduction, I wore these exclusively after my surgical bra. They were the only bras that didn't cause me a huge amount of discomfort while healing. pain wasn't bad, but the ITCHING, anything with a real band would make me feel my scars itch like there were bugs under my skin biting me!Once healed they were largely unnessisary because, per my instructions, my surgeon removed all tissue that would be considered high risk for cancer, around 90% of my total volume. This left me with severe body dysmorphia so 9 months later I had small implants placed to take me to my goal shape. Again, these were the bras I turned to. Again, they didn't let me down. Now, nearly a year later I still wear these (or the nearly identical ones from Maiden Form) almost exclusively.FYI. Mine last around 8-12 month before the glue starts to come undone. But, I do NOT hand wash them, I do NOT hang them to dry.
