These IEM's were a real surprise. I've been into headphones for a number of years, but have never really ventured into IEM's, until I heard that serviceable sound quality could be had for basically a tenner. I didn't believe it to be honest, but though I'd take the chance on them, and I'm so glad I did! I'm not gonna say that they have comparable sound quality to 300 quid audiophile headphones, but they are definitely serviceable as a daily driver. Pretty flat and neutral with a bit of a sub-bass boost makes for a pretty pleasant sound. Not the crispiest sound by any stretch, could be a bit clearer in the upper mids and treble but the impressive sound stage makes up for that in my opinion. 9/10 for sound, (taking cost into account obviously) Comfort and build quality wise they are very impressive! Especially in comfort, they are absolutely tiny, you can barely see them in your ear when wearing, and they're perfect for sleeping with. The cable feels sturdy enough whilst also being fairly flexible. There are some sharper edges on the plastic housing of the IEM's which is a bit of a shame but all in all, well worth the money Definitely worth picking up.

Plain value
Relaxed sound with a touch of warmth and adequate extension towards both upper and lower ends of the register. Upper midrange peak at ~3kHz may create a slightly hollow tonality at times but is rarely noticeable. Bass region lacks some texture and definition, or could simply be described as smooth and rounded. Overall separation and clarity is also decent, but struggles slightly with soundstage. The outer portion of the housing has a pointed edge around the perimeter, and so most of the pressure will be dispersed around the ear tips, which probably does not do any favors to the noticeable amount of cable noise although far from overbearing. Otherwise the light, compact design should provide a comfortable fit for just about anyone. The included ear tips are decent, and the nozzle design also allows for some adjustment of the tips' positioning along its length. Given the price it would be unreasonable to knock Quarks down over these minor flaws especially when they compete well above their price bracket in sound, and although my pair developed a slight channel imbalance after a couple months (so unfortunately past the return window), I still find plenty of use out of them.

Good quality budget headphones
I got moondrop chu 2, which were absolutely great but I didn't like that style of headphone and found it hurt my ears. I returned them and got these - and they're really tiny and light so are really comfortable for me. I wanted something with volume buttons, small, and for a reasonable budget. The sound quality was pretty impressive for the price and size of them - not the absolute best, but I'm happy with it at this price range. One negative I've found is the wires are oddly stiff for headphone wires, which can make them prone to coming out if you knock the wires.

Amazing for the price
I like to have cabled headphones as a back-up because my phone has a socket Saw these were reviewed well somewhere so thought I'd give them a go. The sound quality is amazing, just trying them now with a selection of my own playlists which are very much multi-genre, and I can't fault them coped with everything from jazz to metal from hip hop to electropop folk world and all places in between. Build quality, well the cable feels substantial but the buds, I do wonder how long they will last Also they come with a selection of silicon ends, but they don't come fitted with any and it's a challenge to get some on, which if you're too forceful may damage the buds themselves. I bought the set without the mic so can't comment on that aspect, these were purely to use as a back up But the sounds too good for that so these will be the primary ones I use now

Bass Light on a budget.
To bass light for my tastes with pronounced mids, be good for audio books, lead is a little short for desk use but OK for on the move.

Good sound, great durability, amazing value!
Fantastic value, confirmed! Good sound, and much more durable than expected - still going great, 3 years later! I have had Shure, akg, beyerdynamic, sennheiser, Sony ++ earphones last much less long!

Awful
Awful. Microphone doesn't work properly, people on calls can hardly hear me. Very loud hiss from the cable, must be extremely poor quality. Almost impossible to fit the earbuds. Spend an extra tenner and buy goods from a proper company.

No bass at all and terrible cable noise and circuit whine.
No bass at all. The sound that was there was OK, but pointless with no bass. Cable noise is really loud if you touch it while listening. Impossible to use while walking and wearing a jacket for this reason. I had the microphone 3.5 mm jack version and the circuit whine was loud enough to hear over quiet parts of music or anything spoken word. They felt like they were built to a price and had no quality control at all. Fair enough as they were so cheap.
