I bought this as a low pressure pump to replace a failing pump. Bought it in October 2020, but didn't run it until May 2021. It was threaded on both ends like a low pressure pump. Ran the boat, it started flooding out. Was pumping too much fuel into the carb. Way too much. Borrowed a gas pressure gauge, it was 20PSI, blowing right through the carb. Low pressure pump is supposed to be 5-8PSI Not a suitable replacement, be careful.

This is how I received the fuel pump! Strike 1!! So I over looked that and decided to install it on my mercruiser engine. Should have know the POS doesn't work!! Strike 2!! So I removed the pump again and bench teted it with a power probe kit. As I'm load testing this pump sparks were arking across the bench! Strike 3!! And yes I had the ground wire grounded!! Well designed pump for a fuel system!! Don't buy this product it could have turned out in disaster!!

The pump fit real good and works good on my 4.3 mercurer .

I ordered a low pressure fuel pump for a carbureted engine but received a pump for a fuel injected (high pressure) engine. The box may have been correct but the part was wrong. By the looks of the worn box, it was shipped and returned by another customer who had the same experience. Sure enough, the reviews show someone else received this same incorrect part. A correct part will almost always have a threaded brass fitting along with the pump. Waste of shipping cost both ways. Very disappointing.

Works great. I will update if I get stuck on the lake. Haha!
