KLHConcord Floorstanding Speaker, Black Oak

I pair these with a 12” front firing sub. I love the combo and can’t imagine better sounding speakers—for the price. Took a bit of listening to break in, but not unusually long. Not harsh, but do skew to the higher end. A bit thin on mids, but overall very satisfying sound.

Very nice pair of speaks for the $$$. Replaced a pair of Canton's (German) bookshelf speakers in my surround sound. Paired with a sub, pretty amazing detail in the highs, mids and down low. As suggested further away from the wall is better (couple of feet) and these babies will sing. I can't wait to take them apart and check out the innards. KLH supposedly beefed up the crossover and internal bracing for optimum clarity and depth. I have built a couple of GR Research (Danny Ritchie) X-LS Encores (upgraded) and these do compare favorably.
