I would say that if you could secure the sword in a small vise or secure the sharpener it would probably work **Q: What is the bevel angle?** A: I don't know ,but they work great for me. I read that their 4 in 1 doesn't have enough clearance to get the blade fully sharpened.** A: I find the sharpener works best when you place the blade over the edge of a solid surface , blade side up, and pull the sharpener downward from the back of the blade to the tip. **Q: blade angle?** A: I don't use this, so I asked my husband. He likes this style because it is fast and easy for a quick edge on the knife. The blade is moved across the sharpener straight so the angle would be what is seen in the picture.
