I love this for organizing my cross stitch supplies in my Alex unit from IKEA. I like that it’s so versatile and can be cut to size. It’s very sticky and this is a positive and a negative. When cutting slits into the foam, it was difficult to keep it from ripping through to the next row of slits. It was a learning curve with cutting it. Use scissors and not a craft or utility knife if you want clean cuts.

We bought this to put on the bottom of our patio rockers. They are sitting on exposed aggregate and didn’t want the chairs to scratch. This worked perfectly. Easy to cut to fit and install.

It's soft. Made a guitar work bench. I don't know if this will last too long. But it's nice

I bought this foam to put in my jon boat on the seats. It is very soft, and tears easily. Just not terribly dense at all. The adhesive is strong, but I don't expect the foam to last more than a couple of months. I found a different kind of foam and bought a roll of it to compare. Same dimensions, but over 50% more in cost. That foam was the real closed cell grey stuff, and worked much better for my application. If you're not looking for durability and want to line drawers or do something that doesn't require durability, then this stuff would be fine. It just isn't the best.

I used this to create a waterproof surface for my D&D Table topper, I needed 6 rolls to cover, after measuring a cutting and then applying, I would lose about half an inch or so, which was problematic for my purposes. It is stretchable, but I was sticking as I went so the first roll especially did not turn out the way I expected it to. Also, getting the straight sides to line up properly was tough. I have gaps where I should not, you have to work very slowly and kinda of push them into each other while also trying to keep it straight, I was hoping for a more seamless look. Cannot speak on the durability yet, but I am hopeful it will hold up.
