The classic old-skool orange slices candy from my childhood is frankly not that good when eaten as an adult - the flavor is obviously artificial, they have a weird waxy aftertaste, they stick oddly to the teeth, just meh. Apparently the Italians have figured out how to take that concept and make it really shine, elevating everything about those musty candies into these little gems. These drops smell and taste like bright fresh citrus, maybe a little more tangerine leaning than just orange alone, but very much like actual fruit. The texture is just perfect, with an outer sprinkling of crunchy tiny sugar crystals before you get to the medium-firm jelly. Despite the gummy style, they somehow utterly fail to stick to your teeth. The aftertaste is a lingering orange freshness that's actually an interesting alternative to a traditional post-meal mint. They are spendy for sure at nearly $10 per bag, and I feel a pang of guilt with the individual plastic sheets wrapping each one, but it's a fairly perfect product that I don't actually want to change.

I love the soft orange candies( Perle di Sole Orange Candy Jellies! They are my favorite kind of candy! My friends like them too! I recently hosted an Italian themed party luncheon and gave the orange Italian candies to all my friends who came to the party luncheon! We had such a good time! The Perle di Sole Orange Candy Jellies are delicious and fun to eat!

I wanted individually-wrapped orange candies, and these were. Also, the orange candy is a much better quality, not as sweet, and not dyed with artificial color.

Such a lovely candy. Super soft, with a bright, orange flavor.

These are very fresh and flavorful. If you like orange slices, these are for you. I love the flavor, but I didn't realize it was a slice (as in chewy). I thought it was a hard candy, but it isn't. Again, the flavor is very good. It's just a preference thing for me.

Enjoy the flavor but OMG all that sugar?!?! I love sweets, love sugar but sugar on top of sugar. One star for the flavor… but that's it! I want to return it. Too expensive to not be on point.

These jellies are very soft and not chewy. But they taste different from the hard candy version. These are sweeter and not sour at all. I'm somewhat disappointed for that and I'll stick to hard candies.

Good ingredients. Expensive but worth it.
