Good quality and comfortable shoe for work
Good quality shoes for people who are on the feet all day. Soles good none slip specially in the kitchen. Look for deals can be expensive at full price but if your on your feet 8+ hours and want comfort would recommend them me and my wife wear them.

The best kitchen shoes!
On my second pair now. The first pair lasted 8 months of 12 hour shifts before the soft part on the toe box went through. I've put a pair of toe/crease protectors in these ones, and fixed the problem. Had these ones 6 months and they still look new. They're super comfortable with the arch fit, slip rated sole, and as non slip as Crocs Lock. Very similar looking sole. And as an added bonus, they make you an ince taller. I'm 6ft at work 😁. Best price is also on here, they're 90 odd quid anywhere else.

Good work shoes for some industries with some caveats.
I've been a Skechers fan for some years now and have 6 pairs of skechers in my current rotation; These (newly purchased) work shoes, a pair of casual shoes for restaurants / going out etc, a pair of slippers and 3 pairs of trainers. I am not solely a Skechers fanboy; I have many trainers, boots and shoes from other brands - If there's a problem with one of their products I won't be shy about telling you. Skechers as a brand have a few strengths: 1. Comfort - I've never had a pair of Skechers that weren't incredibly comfortable. 2. No breaking in - I've always been able to put on a brand new pair of Skechers and get on with my life. No breaking in, no blisters, no plasters needed. 3. Style - Invariably all their products tend to look good, to a greater or lesser extent. 4. Price - tends towards the very reasonable, for example this pair cost less than £50 with an offer. Their weaknesses: 1. Long term durability tends to be lacking. 2. Sizing is inconsistent. So about the AXTELL shoe: Supplied in a normal shoe box as expected. Shoes are correctly laced out of the box. No spare laces supplied (Some of my trainers have come with spare laces so I was optimistic these would too, but sadly not). Comes with a ridiculously large fold-out information sheet that could be used as a parachute for a small elephant if required. Information sheet lists in excruciating detail all the standards of Personal Protective Equipment that these shoes meet. Handy for someone? Size wise, I ordered a 10 - purely because it was the only size they had in stock that was within the range that might fit me - my slippers are an 8, my trainers are a 9, 9.5 and 10.5 and my casual shoes are an 11. The trainers and casual shoes were all purchased in a Skechers store and tried on for best-fit. Luckily the 10 fit perfectly. Super comfortable right from the off and dumped right in the deep end with four 12 hour shifts in a row. Fitbit indicates I did 47 KM walking in them in the first four days. No sore feet, no blisters. Essentially the level of comfort I have come to expect from all Skechers shoes. It's worth commenting on the excellent grip these shoes have; I work in healthcare in the community. These shoes were right at home in my base building on vinyl flooring, including wet flooring that had just been mopped, on tarmac, wet and dry mud, gravel, wet wooden steps, moss covered concrete, etc. Their grip is superior to all my other shoes and trainers. At a distance they look pretty stylish - actually better in person than in the pictures. They're a deep black, with subtle detail from the hot-melt overlay and texture from the different materials. One thing I didn't like though was the laces. I'm not 100% sure what they're made from but it's either a mostly synthetic or fully synthetic thread, perhaps polyester. They have a cheap shine to them and I've had these laces in other Skechers trainers, caught the lace on something and had them ripped clean in half. For the price I would personally expect something like paracord laces to match the expected durability of the rest of the shoe. Regarding the rest of the shoe; Everything looks good, edges glued neatly etc - It seems like they have great quality control in the production of these shoes and some features like the hot-melt overlay make for a more "premium" look, but then this contrasts with the mesh panels which don't look as high quality. It's a strange duality. Something else that I find a little jarring is the fact that style-wise these look like trainers, but they have a stiffness in the upper that is more reminiscent of a tennis shoe or a walking shoe. I've got no doubt they're built like they are to accommodate the features needed to meet certain PPE classes. I have no idea what long term durability is going to be like. I'm going to optimistically estimate that they'll last about a year, which for £50 I find acceptable. If I was paying the full £90 asking price and they lasted only that long I'd be very disappointed as that price would push them too close to the realm of what I normally wear for work - Merrell MOAB 3 GTX's (Out of stock at my time of purchasing, hence these as an alternative) - which typically last me three years - and not just wearing for work; I wear those daily. Which leads to another point; I don't like the style of these enough to use them for anything other than work. To conclude; Comfortable, great grip, can be had at a good price but overpriced if not on offer, seem durable but long term durability is ultimately unknown, disappointing laces, In my opinion only wearable as a work-shoe, not as a fashion statement.

Comfortable work trainer
Great fit and comfort. My son has psoriatic arthritis and needs good footwear for work. Didn’t know sketchers did that. Thank goodness for Amazon

I love these shoes
I wear these shoes for work mostly. They are a strong shoe. I work on the floor most of the day, so they get a lot of abuse from all angles. There is a lot of grip on the sole, so u won’t slip easily, great support for sunken arches, strong canvas like material that wraps yr foot up. I also wear them when I mtb off-road, they grip the pedal well.

Good quality and comfortable shoes
I have found that the Skechers arch fit shoes to be a good quality comfortable shoe that I now have two pairs ; one in brown leather and one in black leather. They look good and feel great and I believe are good value for money. I recommend them.

Poor Quality of Workmanship
Dreadful, i've worn these for two months and the sole has come away from the shoes.

disappointed
was told they could wear for years, but just after 4 or 5 months (i work 30 hours a week and wear them almost all the time) they are like the photos, almost unwearable outsole pretty good, insole not so comfortable but okay, the mesh top is crap as you can see from the photos. durability meh

Yes I know they’re sketchers and some of us young kids (25 lol) are really against them. Me too. I only wear Jordan’s/Nike quite literally. But when it comes to working 8-10 hours every day you need to get some shoes that are comfortable, support your core, and take care of your feet. These are the ones. A lot of people don’t know but shoes are a big part of your back support and posture. I’ve never wore anything other than Jordan’s and Nike outside of work and I really do think Skechers are a “old person shoe” but these are the biggest investments I’ve ever made at work. They hold strong, they’re comfortable, and don’t look half bad with work clothes on. This is my 3rd pair I’ve bought and I wore these to multiple jobs from Amazon, tacobell, uhaul, restaurants, ect. My feet feel great after work. I consider these shoes the Jordan’s of work shoes lol. Now that being said when it comes to water/rain I do not recommend these as they’re made to let your feet breathe and you will have wet feet on a rainy day of work. Trust me I know. And I do wish I could find the exact same pair made for rain. That’s how much I love these. I’m a size 13 with a bit wider feet and these still fit with a breeze. Great shoes for work and will/have recommended to other people. 10/10 purchase!!

Note that the picture online is a brown shoe with a rusty tint, but the pair I received is dark brown, as stated in the description. That said, this is my 4th pair of sketchers and I've been satisfied with them all.
