Pony names intimidating to new readers
Bought this for my 5.5 year old who is starting to read. She does okay with steps into reading level 2 books but these MLP level 1 books are more challenging. I personally think all the pony names are quite long and somewhat intimidating for new readers. Let’s just say not all “level 1” books are created equal.
