Ever tried to use an F-clamp and found yourself smashing your fingers trying to tighten the clamp, because the twist handle was so close to a leg or side? Yeah, me too... These clamps completely eliminate that problem! The handle that tightens the clamp is well back from the clamping surfaces, so you can tighten these clamps down with ease in those situations. Such an elegant solution to a vexing problem! Bessey makes quality clamps that are generally somewhat overpriced (in my opinion), so I usually have a hard time recommending them. But this is a truly innovative product, and Bessey is the only company I've seen offering them, so in this case, I'll make the exception. I highly recommend these clamps. You don't need a lot of them, but having a few of them in various sizes might just save you a few busted knuckles!

Bessey very well known and respected Brand amongst wood workers Pity Amazon didnt know how to pack the 2 clamps properly . Package arrived with 1 of the cramps half hanging out after an end punched its way thru the thin cardboard packaging - should have been better support within the package in the 1st place shame on you AMAZON- YOU NEED DO BETTER!!! you can not just throw a couple of naked clamps into a simple cardboard box without doing some basic work to stop the clamps flying about inside the box when handled thru the delivery process . Not the 1st time you have done this.
