Amazing. Installation is easy as it’s 2 screws. One Holds a full size with ease. Have not had it fall off with bumps on the road. Takes some force to remove the object from it. Love it

I saw a lot of reviews saying these barely held handguns. However I have a Q5 SF pro and it is a heavy gun, large clip fully loaded and it has had no problems for the first 3 weeks I have had it. I bought two because of the reviews but I am confident it would be fine with just one. I do have to side mount it, it will not hold if I try to stick the top of the slide to it. But it is quite a strong grip on the side of the slide. I was worried because it's such a heavy gun but I have hit big ruts on gravel roads, snow drifts, and potholes and it hasn't been close to falling off. The closest it every got is when I hit it with my knee while adjusting in my seat and it still didn't fall. Easy to install, non scratch plastic coating on top is great, and most of all the function works perfect. I don't see how this could get under a 5 star review. Guessing maybe people with polymer guns trying to get it to stick using the barrel alone? Not sure. It wouldn't hold 40 lbs without an ideal situation but I don't know of any handguns that would be anywhere close to that.

This magnet looks great, is easy to use, easy to set up and is very durable. Overall, the magnet is well made and the craftsmanship is really nice. I got this for my son and he loves it.

One magnet alone was not strong enough to hold my Glock 19 empty, but my Glock 43 held good enough. However I mounted both magnets tandem and they seem to work great and allowing for a variety of mounting your handgun options. I like the size of the magnets and 1 is perfect for a smaller weapon.

GREAT PRODUCT BUT YOU BETTER WATCH YOURSELF IN A LEGAL SENSE. This is great for holding a gun at a desk or home, but you should be careful when using it in a vehicle. (I'm talking Florida here). Your firearm should never be visible and should not be readily available for immediate use. If an officer approaches your car and sees your firearm attached to this thing, you are going to be in some trouble. Now, if you somehow mount this thing in your glove or console to keep the gun from bouncing around, you will be fine. It just can't be opened for immediate use. Also, the trigger needs to be enclosed in something if it is exposed. If you only attach the gun to this, your trigger is not protected. So when installing, make sure the gun is put away in something like your glove or console. The mount itself isn't illegal in a vehicle, but how your weapon is attached to it might be. Be sure to talk to a professional or consult your state laws for information on how to avoid legal issues.

After looking at most of the magnet type mounts, I felt that the Keeper was the best width, length, thickness, and strength for my application, which is in the center console of a Dodge Ram 2500 4X4 Mega Cab Cummins truck. I've installed it and it works perfectly, and as advertised. You can see in the pictures that the location puts the gun virtually in my hand as I drive with my forearm on the center console. The area that the Keeper is mounted is a small width between the box and the outside edge of the unit and the plastic is thin in that area so it wasn't ideally suited to self tapping screws, and I felt that the screws would not hold properly and that the plastic might crack or break in that area using screws. I chose to use Rubber Well Nuts and stainless,counter sunk, flat head cap screws. The flat head cap screws sit below the level of the Keeper so that they will not touch the gun when attached to Keeper. I used several size drills to make sure that I would not crack the plastic box when drilling the holes, and the final drill bit was an 11/32" diameter. The screws are 8/32 X 3/4" and the well nuts are 0.300" X 1/2" and with the rubber head on the well nuts they sit perfectly on the back side of the Keeper. Once the holes are drilled and the Well Nuts attached to the Keeper you simply shove the well nuts into the 4 holes drilled and screw them down for a very nice fit, and support on the inside of the console. I ended up going to Ace Hardware as they have a much better selection of the small well nuts, and stainless screws. Tom / Las Vegas, NV Oct. 2017

Strong hold. have them in 4 vehicles, and on top of that, used 2 of them to hold the gate open at my property. Fantastic magnet with great strength and no marring.

Did not meet my expectations. Two magnets were barely strong enough to hold a snub nose revolver and the magnet covers wouldn’t consistently stay on. Disappointing. Not recommended.Contacting seller was useless - not really customer oriented imo.** Seller has followed up with a more satisfactory response. My thanks to the seller. **
