Terrible device. Once you disconnect the device from the charger it stops working. It will only work if it is connected to the charger. This makes it a wired device. Really poor quality. I regret wasting money on it.

The ‘lifting’ movement was good, but if you have a partner, just ask them to do it with the hands and give you a little neck massage. Also I’m not sure if the lifting of the device was beneficial, didn’t feel different after (I have neck stenosis due to slightly bulging discs). The electric shock function was horrible. It just burns, even on the lowest setting. I received this type of therapy before and the muscles where engaged when being zapped. But here it just hurt in a hot/sharp way. Meh

Why is there not an instruction manual? For a medical device, proper usage is probably key. I have no idea if I'm laying on it right. What are the "cervical electrotherapy plates"? No part of body touches them, let alone my neck . The movement is very subtle, so not sure if it's actually doing anything . It definitely doesn't hurt. It's not uncomfortable. Just not really sure if it's actually separating the vertebrae. I can definitely feel a release of pressure when my massage therapist uses manual traction on me..... But not sure that I feel that with this device. I'll give it a couple weeks and update my review if I actually feel it's helping. Update:. I actually did like this a lot. Was using it every day. Then this morning, the electrodes part stopped working. Those little zaps was actually my favorite part. This morning nothing, even though it's on full. I would have changed it to 5 star... But for parts to stop working after just a couple weeks is not good. Going to try to exchange. UPDATE 2:. So I was able to send it back and received a new device. After just a week, this one has also decreased almost completely, the intensity of the electrodes. For the most part, I can barley feel then anymore. They are so slight. There are other devices that look identical to this one.... I am thinking I might return this one for a refund and try a different device.

This device is extremely easy to use and it provides simultaneously three therapies that are not usually all present in the same device: heat, e-stim, and some light traction for your neck. It is extremely easy to use -- just plug in and lie down, then click on what kinds of treatment you want on the remote control. The latter is not very intuitive, but it is not hard to experiment with until you get what you want. Then rest your neck on it and get 15 minutes of stretching and muscle stimulation. I have used it every night for about 10 days and it was immediately beneficial, and my neck has gotten looser with successive uses. (I have a tendency for muscle spasms and limited head rotation on the right side of my neck due to years of postural bias towards the left from playing the violin.) This is more useful for me than other neck massage devices I have tried.

After trying to figure out the most comfortable position on my neck for me, it was a little difficult to relax and let the machine move my neck around as it needed. I think that's more user error than it is machine error. After using it for 15 minutes, I had a larger movement range in my neck than I did before and the sudden lack of tension caused a small long lasting headache. I think if I started slower on the device, the headache would be avoided. It's going to take some more getting used to get figure out how to relax entirely on this but it's absolutely worth the money.
