Cute, great teaching tool, has the Amharic script as well as phonetic pronunciation in Amharic. a bit flimsy, you will want to reinforce with mroe staples for sure to make it kid proof. But a lovely little book

Counting Addis Ababa is the best book for children. I bought it for my little cousin and she loves it. In addition to the counting, the images are so interesting that can help the students learn about the life style of Addis Ababa. Even for adults, for those of us who live out of Ethiopia, the images reminds us our childhood and most importantly the beautiful Addis Ababa. This book is really educational. Anybody who wants to teach their kids or relatives about Addis Ababa should own it. I would like to thank the author for writing this book and I hope to see more of this kind of educational books.

The art in this book is really quite sublime and amazing. The cover is bright and lovely, but if you look at the product images, you get a taste for this really descriptive, "artistic" renderings.As well, this book instructs in the early numbers, in a way that children of all ages will appreciate.An especially good resource for adoption families.

I got this book since I was satisfied with the other children's book (Abeba Goes to Bed) by the same author. This book is great for teaching kids counting in Amharic, Afaan Oromoo and English.
