Archie McPhee Set of Five Green Rubber Glow in The Dark Finger Tentacle Puppets

So much fun… Freaky fingertips. Great value fits an average adult hand. They’re a little stiff… But they work great. Smell like rubber, but what do you expect?

Birthday boy wanted a simple (not too much on it!) cake for his aquarium birthday party! These were easy and so cute! I used long toothpicks to secure them and they really “made” the cake! (An aquarium employee did point out that I really needed 8 of them! Ha!) After the cake was done, the kids had as much fun playing with the tentacles as they did with the actual present! WIN!!

I was able to but the tentacles down to size and paint them with reflective paint and put them on my house. They glow in the dark as described and they are nice. I'm so glad I found them!

The finger tentacle puppets are great for your weird puppetry needs! I used them to put in my Grecian Urn for that added touch only Archie McPhee products can provide. Pros: They are finger tentacles, also they are finger tentacles. Cons: They don't glow too bright - but probably because they are a bit translucent.

Great bathtime fun, especially when I gave my son a bubble bath, and came up out of the water with the tentacles he had fun!

I got these for a costume, and they are fun, but there are a few things I am not a fan of. First, the product title is misleading. I was very disappointed to discover that the ones I received do not glow in the dark. They are a fun "UV green" color, and I am sure they would glow under a UV light, but they are not "glow in the dark." Second, they are all the same size, which is somewhat helpful when you don't want to have to think about which one goes on which finger, but it means that the one on my thumb is always tight and the one on my pinky is always loose, and that you have no control over where it sits on your finger. Third, they are made out of a very stiff rubber. I was hoping that they would be more flexible/stretchy, at least around the fingers, so the ones that go to the base of the fingers would still allow the fingers to bend, and so there would be some security keeping the various sizes in place. Also, if it isn't obvious (you are putting long tentacles on your fingers), be aware that once you put them on, it is nearly impossible to do anything with your hands! The fingers also sometimes get tangled in each other, which is annoying, but not often enough to be a real problem as long as you are careful with your hand movements. Overall, these are a fun novelty item and good for a relatively inexpensive costume piece (though it would truly make more sense to sell a set of ten rather than five), but I wouldn't recommend them to anyone who wanted them for a serious costume unless they were planning on altering them a bit.
