As you would expect when seeing the price, it is a very good frying pan, and I am happy with it. When properly preheated, food does not stick and it cleans easily after use.

I am no expert in steel pans but wow this is a nice pan. It puts one heck of a sear on a NY strip I can attest to.

I've been cooking a lot more these past few years so I decided to spend on quality cookware. I did research online to see how the different brands stacked up against one another. Based on what I read and watched I went with Hestan. The day I received it I was so excited to try out my new frying pan. I have never made chicken parmesan before, but decided today was the day. I warmed the pan on medium heat for a few minutes, poured in my olive oil and soon after I dropped in the first piece of chicken. It made a wonderful sizzling sound. No food stuck to the pan and everything cooked evenly. The weight of the pan isn't too much to handle, and I like the overall craftsmanship. Cleaning wasn't too difficult, either. I plan to slowly grow my collection as I am very impressed so far.
