This was super easy to add to the tank. There was the initial clouding but a water change and letting the filter do it's thing and after less than 30 minutes, the tank was clear. Initial impressions are great. Of note, brown is a little darker than expected, but in a good way. If you're looking for light brown, this is definitely not light brown.

Expensive, but then I haven't found one that isn't. No ammonia released (a huge plus). Comes in different size granules (genius!) No washing was required at all, and the slight haze during the tank fill quickly dissipated. (Pour it into the tank gently, add your water slowly). The perfect aquasoil.

Very dusty. So you have to mix it with a little water to form a paste and then add it to your aquarium. A 3 lb bag micro pellet was not enough for my 2.5 gal aquarium so I bought a mini pellet 6 lb bag. You have to add the water carefully, but even then it creates a lot of dust. So you have to let it settle. When adding plants, it also creates dust, no matter how gentle you are. The color is great but too dusty.
