Muffin Shaped
Heavy texture, sturdy but not what I call a muffin. I grew up with Foster's and like thieir consistency and variegated texture. Will not buy again.

Good bread, but not sour dough English muffins.
It was pretty good, as far as just being bread goes. English muffins have a different texture that these did not have—no nooks and crannies, and not crispy enough when toasted. Also, I didn’t really get the distinctive sour dough flavor from it, just a bread taste.

bland, not "real" English muffin
I read a lot of reviews of these English muffins before I ordered them. Unfortunately, they are not what I wanted. They are not "real" English muffins - too bland and fine textured. There are no "nooks and crannies," and they are more like bagels than muffins. They ware not cooked in a pan before they are baked, giving that English muffin texture and flavor. Very disappointing.
