Scent for grandmothers!
Not quite the scent for me, but will keep. Makes me think of my grandmother!

Not what I thought, but still nice
My mom uses this, it smelled so good I had to get some too. But I feel like mine doesn't smell the same. I haven't put it on but just out of the bottle it smells more like a mature/elderly scent. Still beautiful but not my cup of tea. (Yes, I made sure it was the exact same one, and no, I didnt smell it on myself or her before buying as I know body PH can affect smells)

Nice perfume for good price
I have this is travel and regular size. It is my boyfriends absolute favorite fragrance that I wear. I actually have people stop me in the stores and ask what I am wearing. Price is nice too!

Smells amazing...for about 15 min.
It's got a lovely earthy musky smell just slightly sweetened by the tiger lily but it doesn't last for very long and it has no silage. Ik scent lasts differently for a variety of reasons and we are the first to go nose blind to our scent but I had my husband sniff my wrist not more than half an hour after applying this spray and he couldn't smell anything. Perhaps the actual perfume lasts longer but I am definitely disappointed in this product.

Derek Lam has a talented nose.
And excellent taste, too. This is my 2nd sampling of Lam's fragrances and I love Silent St as much as Something Wild. Silent St is a beautifully soft floral with powdery notes, perfect for spring, summer and year round. I can't speak for longevity as I just opened it, but I am enjoying every whiff so far. I'd say this scent is highly giftable- especially for women who are looking for something feminine but not too "girly" and not gourmand or fruity. Lovely scent! This will fill the bill for daytime warm weather for me. Next is warm weather nighttime... Perhaps Blackout or 2 a.m. Kiss. Derek Lam has me hooked. I may sound like one, but I am not a paid spokesperson.
